Clark and Michael: Curb your Arrested Development

The first episode of Clark and Michael is up

I liked it. It's kind of like a teenage Curb Your Enthusiasm, with Michael Cera playing himself as himself. It's got a few good cameos, and a couple of really good scenes. Hopefully it'll get better as the season goes on, though, some of the gags fell pretty short.

If you don't know what this is, Michael Cera is producing a series of shorts with his actor friend Clark and releasing them on the web. The show is shot like a fake reality show (think the office or curb your enthusiasm) revolving around himself and Clark trying to produce a TV show.

    The writing reminds me of the bullshit satire banter me and my friends always shoot around when we're bored. Ironically, the show didn't do much for me. But, I guess it's only the pilot, eh?

    And, yeah, I'm holding it in higher regard than I should just because it was only a pilot and it's written and directed by Michael. It wasn't particularly hilarious, but it was still pretty good considering it's the first episode of their first show, ever.

    i've always thought it might be a neat idea to make an episode of the office that focuses on the people filming the show rather than the actual people in the office
