one by one, they all fall down

Today I'm taking down the Final Fantasy Forum.

Tomorrow will be the Best of 2003 forum.

The next day I will start the closing process on the LotR forum.

I don't have any plans for any new Hot Topics forums in the next couple weeks, but we will see what the news brings. If anyone thinks of something they really think should be a Hot Topic forum, feel free to drop me a note.

You should close down SE++. That place doesn't get much traffic. ;)

Hmm, judging by the ammount of threads in SE, perhaps we'd better have a "Shaving your Junk" hot topic

I would ask to moderate but I would live in fear of having to check for pictures of said junk.

So was the FF forum. But not so active as to need its own forum. And I never intended any hot topic forum to live beyond 3-5 weeks at the most.

    On the LotR forum.

Technically, since it is a book, immortal at the very least. The forum should remain immortal for people reading the book or seeing the movie the first time.

Of course we don't have a forum for Homer do we?

    I guess not then.

But I am so making an official LotR thread in either SE++ or EE.

munkus is the world's biggest cyoa supporter. Bringing up the fact that they died is like going to his house and kicking his kitty.

Why not just a generic MMORPG forum, for maps, guides, strategies, etc?

Goddammit. Another once-pristine forum whored out like a drunken sorority girl.

Ecoterrorism is actually the single largest terrorist threat at the moment. They don't usually kill people, but they blow up or set on fire very expensive things.

we could just have a pernament movies/books/music forum. that would probably save some time rather that having different hot topics.

Or you could actually use EE or SE for what they exist to do.
