At the beginning of every turn after the first turn, each player draws new cards depending on their current mode of transformation (2 attack cards and 1 defense card while in robot mode, 2 defense cards and 1 attack card while in vehicle mode), up to a maximum hand & Readiness pool size of 8.

So...we can have 8 cards total in our hand, or 8 attack and 8 defense? If we reach the maximum hand size, do we choose cards to discard for the newly drawn cards, or do we just not get to draw new cards?

    1) 8 attack and 8 defense cards.

    2) You simply stop drawing cards.

    Awesome.

I can't wait for this to get started :D .

    One last question...

Does the village vote/mafia kill actually take someone out of the game, or does it just damage a hitbox/hitboxes?

Who the fuck called themselves "Aerialbot Elita Shift Energon Autobot Ultra Alert IV"?

Because that is a fucking travesty of a name and I will end you for it.

I'm not sure if a second person going for V makes it better or worse

There now are two people called "Aerialbot Elita Shift Energon Autobot Ultra Alert", 4 and 5?
That should have been all the autobots names, from I (1) up. Or at least all the Intrepids

Sorry, schuss; your inclusion on the player list was an error on my part. You were added erroneously while I was paging through the thread to double-check that I'd included everyone on the list who'd signed up.

Seriously, especially since it's more like 9-12 hit boxes each considering they come back after the first time they get scrapped with half max health. The vote will be our best bet to put one down, but I think we know who needs to be slagged first.

Ahh, I was a little confused as to which it was, well shouldn't we all mass our fire onto 1 or 2 of the weaker ones?

Though I'm still not quite understanding how to attack/defend. Can you provide an example?

    Example:

Optimus Prime wants to attack Megatron with his trusty Ion Blaster. He has 3 cards in his Readiness pool - a face down Evasion card, a face up Evasion card and a face down Energon Barrier. Since attacking with the Ion Blaster requires 2 Readiness, Optimus taps both Evasion cards - leaving his Energon Barrier untapped and ready to be used defensively when the Decepticons attack. The face down Evasion card will become untapped at the beginning of the next Day, while the face up Evasion card will be discarded from the Readiness pool.

Ahh, I was a little confused as to which it was, well shouldn't we all mass our fire onto 1 or 2 of the weaker ones?

While this may be good in theory, there are cards that can negate all attacks in a night, so that could result in a completely wasted night of actions. That said, everyone's hand should be minimal tonight, so now would be the time to do it and just hope they don't have the needed card to defend. Also, the more defensive cards they keep ready, the less dakka they will put out.

I would say those with utility type attacks (the ones that take away their cards or otherwise disrupt their ability to hit us) spread the love against the bruisers and the rest focus fire on the weaker targets. I would advice against calling targets though, which will make it understandably more difficult to coordinate, but would leave the others free to tap a bunch of their D cards and blast away at our puny 2-4 hitboxes.

As far as basic strategy goes, it looks like the game is designed in a way where it would favor the village to spread fire across several decepticons on most days, to force them to keep on the defensive, which hopefully buys the village time to get some vote leads sorted out (resulting in instant death no matter how many hit boxes they have).
