    I remember when I really young I thought the N-word was actually referring to Tigger's cousin.



    Also, for the longest time I assumed that "swarthy" was describing someone who was cool, like Lando Calrissian.

    And then I found out that it was describing someone with dark skin. Like Lando Calrissian.

    I wouldn't consider it a slur, more something that someone could take the wrong way when I was using it incorrectly.
