but i do not see anything that would appeal to anyone our age

I saw "Beyond Scared Straight" when they took some girls to Chowchilla. Holy shit the women in there were beyond scary. One of them was pretty cute though, she could get it.

Someone is spending several hundred dollars to have an old, likely worn plastic pony which looks like a manufacturing error. I am totally unfamiliar with the aesthetic quirks of this curious niche market.
I suppose there are people who buy the more common examples of "perfect" ponies? Are those worth less due to their more banal taste level?
