Hey there! For the uninitiated, MSPA is a website run by artist/writer/animator Andrew Hussie, and Homestuck is a story in progress. Homestuck is a comic framed as if it were a text adventure game, told in second person. The command beneath each panel serves a "next" button. Don't forget to read all the dialogue and watch all the musical animations!

Homestuck is also an epic story of time travel paradoxes, alien civilizations, chess monsters, teleportation, human cloning, and Nick Cage tributes.

Wait, forget about that. That sounds incredibly silly! What's the story really all about?

    Let's just put this in perspective. Karkat was born into a society that pits it's newborns against one another in a deathmatch before they even have the chance to crawl around and find some random monster to raise them. The Trolls can be culled at any time, at random, and this is a fairly normal occurrence, they can be culled for being weak, infirm, for not producing genetic material for the Mother Grub, they can killed by any of their ruthless, murderous kin. Karkat himself is a genetic mutant, who could have been culled at any time by the Imperial Drones if they have found out about his blood color. He has witnessed the death of his world, the death of his best friend, he has fought against a near godly monster in the Black King not to mention all the other foes he faced a long the way. He was faced with an unstoppable, unkillable demon, Leader of the Angels, herald of destruction for their universe, who killed an army of Aradia-bots, and proceeded to destroy Derse and Prospit. He slept and saw the Horrorterrors, beings both horrible and terrifying. He has just witnessed the death of two of his friends at the hand of a broken megalomaniac with insane power, and the near death of his best friend.

    And Gamzee being insane has scared him more than he has ever been scared in his entire life.

    I think that Gamzee might feel more scary than Eridan and Vriska because we don't know what he is cappable of.

    We have seen enought of Vriska and we know how she handles things and have seen her getting worse and better (and then a lot worse) at times and we knew that Eridan was able to do this kind of thing but hadn't seen him do that much.

    Gamzee on the other hand is not "evil" like them, he is just crazy.
