Holy shit that X-Men game is amazing and I envy you for having a fucking arcade cabinet for it.
That said, has anyone invested in these figures yet?:
I want them quite badly. I'm curious, though, as to how well they move / how many points of articulation they have. It looks like... not very well / not very many.
Dude, they are DC figures. Be happy if they can move their elbows and knees. The Mad Hatter one is cool, but the rest do nothing for me. What book are they based on?
Also, the Bat-briefs look a little dumber each time I see them. Seriously Bruce, the underwear goes under your outerwear.

Like there's a mile of face between his upper lip and his nose.
Yeah, I was noticing that too. It's not nearly as dramatic in the comic. Despite that, I still think it's a pretty good looking set of figures (except for Catwoman, perhaps).
Any thoughts on the "Batman Unmasked" figure? I saw it the other day and considered getting it, but I didn't really see why someone would want to have a figure of an unmasked Bruce Wayne in the Batman suit:
I want the Clark Kent one. Something about him ripping his shirt off gives me good vibrations, so to speak. And the rest of time, I tend to think of him as sort of a homp. I enjoy his adventures, but...he's still something of a homp.
I really want the Red Son Batman. I want it so hard.

Ah. Guess I should either look closer, or get the book.
I like the idea of getting the book...
Yes. Honestly, I was amazed at how awesome it was.
Also, I got the Long Halloween Batman figure today, and he's pretty badass. My camera is out of batteries, otherwise I'd post a picture, but I put one a few posts up regardless. If I have one complaint, it's probably as to how he holds the batarang (it slides into a very small slit in his right hand, so it sort of sticks out awkwardly and makes it seem like he's barely holding it at all), but that's a pretty minor thing. He's also not the most posable guy in the world, but I was actually kind of surprised at how much he actually does articulate (he's not as stiff as pictures would have you believe), so that's also kind of a null complaint.
I found this up at TFW2005 and I find this pretty cool as this was a comic figure I didn't expect to be made anytime soon. Sure those here who read the comic he was a part of will dig this too.
Also, it is a shame they didnt use the later Red Son look, that is drastically different from his mainstream getup.
That is Kia Asamiya's line of Batman figures, the one in the picture is Evil Batman. And they do use the later Red Son look, it just hasn't come out yet.
I was planning on picking up some Identity Crisis figures today, but at closer inspection, they really didn't look good. But I did pick up this bad boy...
Everytime I see Martian Manhunter, I cringe at his costume. He is such a cool character, but that costume gets a little more awful every time I see it.

Is it, or am I just crazy?
This Superman is 'President Superman', from later in book. The first is the Superman from the first half of the story.

Oh man, I'm gonna be broke. And what the hell, Arkiss? He's been dead since season 2. He and Gallius bought it while fighting Despero's dudes.
That Justice Lord Flash is so awesome though, and Lorder J'onn? Shit yes.
Shining Knight and Vigilante are gonna have so damn many desktop adventures.
