I haven't messed with this in over a year, but last time I did it got Bartimaeus, who is a snarky demon without a true physical form. I had to answer nearly every question with a negative or "I don't know", and he still got it.
"Is your character Chinese?"
Yes!
"Is your character slanty-eyed?"
...
In its defense, that's a pretty good question to ask if your character's from an anime, as sometimes the Japanese portray the Chinese as having pencil-thin closed eyes, and other times do not.

"Is your character extremely racist?"
Akinator, you are wasting questions.
Donkey Kong on
Thousands of hot, local singles are waiting to play at bubbulon.com.
Hmmm; Akinator failed to guess Bhima from the Mahabharata even after 40 questions.
[Edit: Got Themistocles, though, after three tries. It was looking pretty grim there for a while.]
[Edit 2: Oh shit, son. He got Captain Dathon, of "Darmok" fame in ST:TNG. I didn't even know that guy was given a name; I was just going for "Tamarian Captain".]
[One last edit: I just got Kirk'd by the Akinator. I was trying to play Robert Oppenheimer and he asked if my character "had killed humans". Ten minutes later I'm still not sure how to answer.]
He didn't get Lenneth Valkyrie. He guessed some Touhou character at 20, then asked if the character used a bow. I clicked yes and the site just stopped responding.
So, if we're ever attacked by sentient robots, call in the Valkyries, I guess.
The only problem, and it's unavoidable, is when people give incorrect information, whether it's accidental or intentional.
For example, according to the people who have used this site, Ellen Page is American. Or apparently, Thomas Lang, an Austrian session drummer, was in Lord of the Rings (he wasn't).

This is why it at Yuri from Infinite Space. The plot spans too much in the characters life and too much weird stuff for definite yes or no answers on a lot of the questions it asks.
I was trying for Detective Jack Sprat from the Nursery Crimes series and I seemed to have it beat. I was surprised when it threw Dirk Gently at me. I mean, the series are so themeaticly linked!
It did have Jack Spratt in the list of corrections at the end, but that one was referring to the nursery rhyme. Jack Sprat is a Detective who is ALSO a nursery rhyme.
Wtf is this shit, after 6 questions, 3 I don't knows, I confirmed it's an american, it hasn't existed and not from a cartoon, it doesn't ask me if it's from a video game, but it asks me if IT'S FROM THE FALLOUT SERIES? Get out of here. I was going for the Vault Dweller.
Heh, it got it. I imagine novel + unknown sex + been into space is what did it (apart from being an animal with four legs and claws that isn't a cat or dog.)

lol
That was the best I could come up with from my childhood.
I, for one, welcome our new Akinator overlord.
Also it got my dick, this is weird.

also, the thing has Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen in it, which is just impressive.

Nope! He never even asked "is your character a doctor" or anything.

Hey, if Wilson from Cast Away does...
Still, that thing is scary. Got my first few all within 30 questions. I am afraid.
Stop playing!
You are feeding him.
Due to your careless giving of information, he is closer to knowing all.
We are Akinator.

he asked some questions that got me worried for a bit but he never quite nailed it
Resistance is futile.
Edit: Damn, also got Scott Shelby from Heavy Rain.
