One of the cities is Tehran... Yes, yes there will be sand.
No, no tracer darts. That's a bit too BC and not enough BF
    Yes, there will be spotting.
I don't think sensor balls really fit the tone of #BF3. I do think intel gathering is important to tactical gameplay though.
Well, uh, is the UAV in #BC2 coming back? Or something different?
    - Yep, not talking about that kinda specifics yet either.

Full FoV configuration is rumoured, but can't find a solid source for it.

I really hope they keep the feel of the vehicles from BC2, but bring back limited ammo and overheat, as opposed to that weird six-shot "magazine" on launchers and light tanks.

Also, I had the best game on Arica today with the M16, 40mmSG and M93R. The teams were evenly matched, and even with 250 tickets the game went on for a good half hour. It was one of those games where the other team was very challenging to fight, and yet I still got the ace pin. There was one point at which a good squad and a half of them were running around the house at A looking for us, and I managed to outflank and kill six of them before they got me (they kept spawning on each other). So fucking awesome.

Holy hell why does this game have such braindead design philosophies. I quit BLOPS hoping to avoid those but nope! Magnum ammo! Body armor! Winning rush by the entire enemy team going recon and calling in mortar strikes for free until the mcom blows up! Get sniped in one shot by people you cant even see because they have a 12x scope! Hope you like grinding another ten levels before you can compete at all!

Destroying MCOMS with mortars is so painfully slow that it's legit, if the other team thinks that's fun, what a bunch of losers. Just switch servers.

Getting sniped in 1 shot is actually quite rare, unless you were standing completely still and for a long time. But yes, armor and magnum armor is the dumbest thing.

Mortars can't damage the MCOM unless it's in a building. I know other explosives can damage it.

So whats the point of the 40mm nades? They're good at knocking walls out and all but in my experience the only way to ever kill people with one nade is to hit them square in the chest and thats if hit detection is in your favor.

I get a bunch of kills finishing people off. If you catch someone a few times, but they jump around a corner, then pop a 40mm at them to get the kill.

Well it will be out until November, and BC2 kinda died out last year. It got all popular again here because of the new maps and Vietnam.

    either:

    1) You have to come to a complete or near stop to do it
1a) you also cannot be in midair

    2) You have to transition through crouch to get to it

    3) If you can instantly go to it, it stops forward momentum and has a 3 second or so cooldown before you can move or get back up.

Instantly going from standing to prone. Makes it really hard to kill someone when their hit box automagically shrunk and translated to the ground.

Launch it was kind of bad, but the current version is fine in my books. 7 is great, but it's really the Win 98 to Vista's Win95.

I'd prefer to have Win7 back (had to go back to Vista after the beta ended) but either one I'm okay with using daily. Loading up an XP computer gives me a twitch in my eye now though.

Good on DICE dropping support for XP, considering the damn thing is near 11 years old now. That'd be like porting BF3 to OS9.

So its essentially what everyone does in Call of Duty the instant they see a guy. I'm guessing this wasn't included in BC2 because it doesn't seem like you can go prone period.
