This is not a clue, Just a lyrical misquote for any Electric Light Orchestra fans:

I see the lonely quest that seems to light the way
Was it a clever ruse, to lead us all astray?
But problem sleuth saw that Clubs Deuce was blown away!
And I see Blue was Midnight Crue.

I'll add a verse for every Midnight Crew member that is revealed; I'll call this masterpiece 'Elegy for the Midnight Crew'

OK, reading through again, I can't really deny that blueblue jumped to my defense
The real person who he was saving was Somestickguy, hence
about his constant votes for me, some I explanation do I want
about why he didn't even try to save himself by voting for dragon numbers in first place after my taunt

I'm tiring of this silly post restriction,
So I'm finding it hard to defend myself with much conviction
And even though he is mixing fictions

clubs deuce is probably the least important of the midnight crew
And add Mobster kingpin to the two and two

While 5 mafia is 18%, a bit low for a twenty eight person game
Structural factors make them stronger, such as the number of neutrals, and the trickle vote going last, which I've said was lame

Given how he is represented in the comic, if he's not evil, there is still some mechanism by which Mob Kingpin can use him. Perhaps he's a neutral or a citizen that bears a curse of some sort.

I have a grim feeling that my guessed connection between Dragon and SomeStickGuy was mere Suspicion.

Mob Kingpin is a threat both real and imaginary, and Madam Murel is likely to be in this story too.
To avoid prematurely provoking The Tears of A Clown, I retract my vote for !Spoit while you furret out some clues.

If there's a mechanic in place for DMK to use me, it's not one I'm aware of. If there are imaginary threats in this game I'd guess that some people could be monsters.

Dragon is up by one! Will somestickguy not even lift a finger to save himself? The clock ticks!

This is interesting to me; by my count, Dragon was actually up by two at this point at the end of Day 2. BlueBlue (who died as mafia) posted a wrong vote count; he failed to record Miscellaneousinsanity's vote for Dragon6860. No idea whether that is actually significant, but we have a known mafia misreporting the vote.

    Perhaps we should inspect !CKyle

    E: !CKyle

Actually, since BlueBlue said he could be convinced to change his vote to CKyle, that definitely casts doubt on CKyle on being mafia. Either BlueBlue was covering CKyle or he's genuinely not mafia. I find the latter more likely.

And thus I find myself at a loss.

Hooo boy. Feels like a lot of people've been quietly sheeping along so far and trying to stay under the radar, so let's think about that.

    Serious offenders:
Simulacrum and Daniant have been almost entirely silent.
Sir Fab's been a little more loud, but I don't think his posts've really cut the mustard, either.
Phyphor, avraham and the anonymous haven't contributed much more than a few confused remarks.

not saying that all the mafia's gonna be hiding in here, but a good mafia'll split between loud players making harmless small talk and a few who try to avoid attention. Blueblue is definitely in the first category, so...yeah. It's probably not a good idea to split votes around the quiet folks, but I'd suggest the vig look into it.

That being said, I'm gonna vote for Terrendos since Blueblue switched away from him on day one. The spoit wagon just ain't sitting right with me for some reason.
