Just finished AGOT after several, several months (stupid school...). How would you all describe the second book? (non-spoiler please).

I'll read it as soon as I'm done with Wolves of the Calla..

    Good?

Like A Game of Thrones but more better

I'm curious how we have some idea of this.

Are there hints in preview chapters or something?

    I mean,
temporary blindness seems rather unsurprising, but I don't know of any specifics that would indicate that it would be.

    End on
I wish that someway, somehow, that I could save every one of us

Arya isn't showing up again until The Winds of Winter, so no, we don't know.

I thought the idea was to split the POVs between Feast and Dance. Arya was in Feast, so she shouldn't be in Dance. Right?

We're definitely getting Bran, Jon, Daenerys and Tyrion.

    Aside from that, almost certainly
    Theon, Davos and Stoneheart

And then I'd really like to see
    Sandor and Jorah

that idea is like 5 years old

part of Dance is concurrent with the events of Feast but it extends beyond it too.
In early 2010, Martin noted that his intent for A Dance with Dragons was for the first 800 manuscript pages to cover the alternate characters in the same time span as A Feast for Crows, and that "Everything that follows is post-Feast, so that's where some of the cast from the last book start popping up again."[2] Stating that "I wanted to resolve at least a few of the cliffhangers from Feast,"

No I love that guy this is the dude who
Is supposed to be protecting Myrcella, and in the last chapter decided he was going to make her queen or whatever.

I can tell its going to get better - when the conflict actually begins. But right now its like... I can't make myself care.

The whole post shouldn't be a spoiler tag, so.
About the Qyborg, if you read back to Bran's dream in GoT you'll find this passage:
There were shadows all around them. One shadow was as dark as ash, with the terrible face of a hound. Another was armored like the sun, golden and beautiful. Over them both loomed a giant in armor made of stone, but when he opened his visor, there was nothing inside but darkness and thick black blood.

Especially in proximity to Sandor and Jaime, there's only one great warrior in Westeros who fits that last description... at least now that he's been beheaded and made into a giant fucking zombie tank. Kind of cool to see these events foreshadowed in the first book.
