I run that pony blog, and apologize for any eye-bleeding the poll may have caused. It was more of a joke thing from /co/, and I guess most websites decided to discover Equestria Daily right when I put it up or something. (this is the third forums that has posted about that poll :shock:)
Some artist drew a bunch of the ponies in various swimsuits/stuff and everyone wanted me to make a poll to judge who looked the best. It was just for lulz mainly.
I try to keep the site as PG as possible, but I didn't think it was going to get as big as it did, so my original plans were just to throw everything interesting from our 10 general threads a day on /co/ into one place so people could easily find stuff. And well.. if you know anything about 4chan, its anything but PG. I had no clue people from outside of our threads would start to catch on so quickly.
Soo yah, sorry if it came off as some crazy near-porn website (I've never allowed anything fully porn at least!) There is still shipping (relationships between ponies in fanfiction/image form for those that dont know), but I'm blending as much normal news in as possible. It's still heavily influenced by /co/, so some pony love is unavoidable.
with diamonds instead of pearls, a white dress and gloves instead of black, and instead of the pineapple up-do, her hair wold be held back in a curly ponytail.

Agreed, though a ponytail seems a little too casual for Rarity. She's all about fancy and regal, afterall.
