This comic awakened long forgotten memories of hours and hours spent playing pipe dream as a kid

I played the puzzle pirates version of that for so long I started seeing pipe pieces whereever I went, and when I closed my eyes all I'd do is imagine a pipe connecting scenario. I had to stop playing it was driving me so crazy

It is amazing how many peers in the mid twenties range can not do any sort of home improvement stuff. Plumbing, wiring, framing is pretty simple stuff!

Speaking of old Window's games, this thread now makes me really want to play Chip's Challenge. Played that game so much.
Is there even a way to aquire it legaly anymore? I used to play that all the time when I went to visit my aunt. Along with wolfeinstein and that cosmo game.

I also remember playing the shareware of doom on a black and white laptop with like one frame per second. And I still enjoyed it.

Chips Challenge won't even run on 64bit Windowses since it's 16bit software. There is however a clone called Tile World, which is the same game, with different assets and will actually run on current systems.

You can get the Shareware version off 3D Realms' site:

Dammit this makes me want to make a oldschool videogame thread. I think I might do that tonight.

And then I remembered I work for Microsoft.
