    So I'm going to move the 5 o'clock viper to 3 o'clock.

The question is, should I go try to shoot a basestar, or should I park myself on the raider space so they shoot me instead of the battlestar?

I used my red card, and no one else draws reds, so I'd be a sitting duck against the raiders. I guess shooting the battlestar is a better choice.

Activate CAG to move 5 o'clock ship to 3 o'clock

Move to 9 o'clock and shoot the basestar

    Turn 2: Felix Gaeta (Darian)

Receive Skills Step: Darian draws 1 Politics, 1 Leadership, 2 Tactics, and 1 Engineering card.

Movement Step: Darian moves to Command.
Action Step: Darian plays Leadership 2 - Executive Order on Dracil.

Executive Order: Dracil moves to the fore (9 o'clock) of Galactica and uses his CAG action to move the unmanned Viper Mk. II in the port-quarter (5 o'clock) to aft (3 o'clock). He uses his bonus action to fire on the basestar.

    Attack Roll: 3, Miss.

Gaeta moves into position to help coordinate the Viper, giving Apollo the go-ahead to move out. The CAG orders a viper to watch over the civilians while he attempts to do damage to the enemy basestar without success. Meanwhile, Gaeta receives a message from a raptor ready to launch on a scheduled scouting mission...

    Crisis Step: Scouting for Fuel

Current Player Felix Gaeta (Darian) must choose:
    A) Skill Check [12] Tactics + Piloting
    Pass: +1 Fuel
Fail: -1 Fuel and destroy 1 Raptor
    OR
    B) Roll a die. If 4 or lower, -1 Fuel.

After Crisis: Activate Raiders, Advance Jump Preparation

Darian chooses option B, playing Tactics 4 - Strategic Planning to aid the roll.

So....I have a lot of options open right now and would like to know what people think. I could...

-Activate communications and move the civilians.
-Have command be activated and escort the civilians to safety/launch a viper and move it over for additional protection.
    -See where we're headed.
-Go say hi to Kara and see if I can't see what I can do in the Hangar.
-Go say hi to that Basestar.

What do you think? I'm thinking Kara could help with getting those civs out of danger, but if she's been drinking again and my crisis activates raiders we could be in for some trouble, what with only one viper being there.

Ally Resolution: Stiles resolves ally Kara "Starbuck" Thrace, flipping over her Trauma token. The result is Antagonistic. Raiders are activated, advancing from the starboard-quarter ( 1 o'clock) to aft (3 o'clock). The next ally card is revealed, Saul Tigh.
    Location: Command
Beneficial Result: Executive Officer - You may choose another character to send to the "Brig".
Antagonistic Result: Heavy-handed - You are sent to the "Brig".

Turn 3: Anastasia "Dee" Dualla (Stiles)

Ally Resolution: Stiles places a Trauma token from his supply face down to Saul Tigh's card.
Action: Stiles plays Leadership 2 - Executive Order on Darian.

Executive Order: Darian activates Command to use the aft (3 o'clock) viper to escort both civilian ships to safety. He activates the location again to use the same viper to fire on the Raiders in his zone.

    Attack Roll 1: 1, Miss.
    Attack Roll 2: 6, Hit.

Dualla makes a visit to the Hangar Deck to see if she can provide some support. She learns that Starbuck's been out in space trying to help support the fleet, but it appears that all she's doing is riling the enemy up. Dualla opens a line of communication to Gaeta in command to rein Starbuck's actions in, and countermeasures against the Cylons are taken. Meanwhile, Saul Tigh reviews the situation and puts in a suggestion to the admiral...

    Crisis Step: Declare Martial Law

Admiral Helena Cain (Professor Phobos) must choose:
    A) -1 Morale, and Admiral Helena Cain (Professor Phobos) receives the President title.
    OR
    B) -1 Population, and Admiral Helena Cain (Professor Phobos) discards 2 Skill Cards.

    After Crisis: Activate Basestars

I'd gladly take the XO to try to clean up the raiders, or you could toss an XO at our newly appointed dictator, give her three actions in a row to take out the basestar. Dangerous if she's a Cylon, but she hasn't had a chance to prove herself either way, yet. (Other than grabbing power to avoid the loss of skill cards, of course.)

Actually I think I'll just XO(1) Gaeta to activate vipers. It's Cain's turn next anyway, and if she is a Cylon, 3 actions is just too dangerous.

Edit: I do think it's worth it to activate adminstration on your turn maybe (since it only takes 3 for you to pass), but not worth using an XO's double action on. I *think* it's less efficient for the same person to be both admiral and president (can't nuke and use quorum at the same time for example).

Yeah, but it's still kind of shitty because it takes another turn after that, or a half-ass XO to move to the president's office. That, or someone else activates administration. Also, Zarek can mess with the difficulty of any administration or brig checks, not just the ones he initiates.

Anyways, one person making both the President and Admiral choices is pretty dangerous stuff. I think it was sort of fishy that Phobos immediately decided to take both titles without consulting the rest of us.
