I was thinking, because we are constantly posting a new thread every week or so, why don't we start modifying and improving the OP as a group? It'll be a team effort to streamline and pretty up the information. Also, we could easily take suggestions from what people would like to see and slowly integrate their ideas.
Here was some ideas I just came up with:
-Showing "OP patch notes" to describe the changes to the OP which will highlight a new feature. The numbers would be silly and arbitrary, like 1.4 followed by 1.62, stuff like that.
-Maybe add some pics, especially some Waka art (if he will allow it).
-A replay of the day link. Have it in it's on bolded spoilered section. Whomever created the thread simply changes the link at a certain time each day with user submitted replays. Make it a requirement that everyone is using star2.org for the pretty graphics.
-Link more pertinent information like important SotG or Day9 videos. Some of the Newbie Tuesday stuff is a good start.
-A tournament section which will highlight upcoming SC2 tournaments as well as our own CSL. That way when the deluge of posts start coming in from tournament games, people can simply look in the OP for the appropriate link.
-Highlight more current streams or commentaries. Pretty obvious.
-Removal of out-of-date information or a general reorganization of the OP. The training guides should be copy/pasted somewhere and just linked to in the future. While important, they take up a lot of space. No offense Dhal.
That's just off the top of my head for right now. I really want to clean up the OP and stop all the silly thread sniping we go through. If we are all working as a group, then it'll just be someone flips the thread when it's time (and by time, I mean after 2500 posts). We could even give ourselves a cool name or something, complete with a logo and audio stuff. (j/k on the last part...or am I?)
If you do it on page 100, people still post (because they can't READ ugh) and you might end up going to the dreaded 101
It's all good people. Post 2,500 (or thereafter) will be the link to the new thread. As per usual, I recommend Font Size 7 with lime text to attract the most eyes to the link. It worked pretty well for me in the past.

Beat my first Diamond player this morning, plus two plats. Went 5-1 all in all, losing to early DTs.
Rine/Tank/Thor is very strong against Terran and Zerg, but I need to refine it against Protoss. It's silly that I lost that as I had an ebay down, he must have timed it especially to happen shortly after I muled. Glad To see myself progressing, lack of tank play was really holding me back.
i really like the idea that people get demoted if their bonus pool gets too high in grand masters, i kind of wish this would trickle down though so we dont have divisions where half the people dont play anymore, it would make them somewhat more competitive i feel.
well the one person in my div who is 1-4 for 2v2 has a bonus of 2700, it allows people who bought the game late to not be so far behind in points that they cant challenge for the top of the ladder

I'm headed to bed, good luck to whomever gets it!
OK, I'll spoiler the PM here.

Ok I've been here for years and I gotta ask where the fuck is your face.

Also, I know I'm late because I woke up early to watch the VODs, but FUCK YES HuK!!!!
This group is the toughest one I think. Obviously no one wanted to be in the idra/Whitera/Ace group, but these players are tearing it up.

How pleasant!
Well if you're offering...
That game literally came down to one SCV being 3 feet away from a command center to repair it.
That was insane.
EDIT: Make that was.
And they all comment on how this establishment seems to be a wonderful meeting of cultures with tolerant and accepting people of all races and creeds.
