Man, Silent War was good, as well as JSA. However, the moment of the week for me was from Marvel Previews, of all places. The preview cover for Daredevil #100 is fucking nuts. Spidey, Elektra, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Black Widow, and Daredevil vs an assload of ninjas, Bullseye, Gladiator, Kingpin, and some other mofos I don't recognize? Oh, and the issue is supposed to be 104 pages? Yes please.

When he dies, I hope they write "Worst Affirmative Action Hire, EVER" on his grave. His corpse should be trolled.

    I'd go with Daredevil #97.
Gladiator vs Daredevil was pretty good. Him standing there at the end made me D: though.

Lots of good stuff out this week, between Silent War, Illuminati, and the new Spawn: Godslayer book (which is so beautiful I want to cry), but it's hard to pick a really 'wow!' moment. More like a steady steam of goodness rather than any big spike of awesomeness.

The Beyonder is no longer a living universe, but the first mutant Inhuman, who became godlike after entering the mists. Black Bolt has no memory of him.

It was a good story other than the retcon part.

Daredevil was fantastic this week, as usual.
Any theories on who is talking to him? Given that the #100 cover implies his eventual involvement with the New Avengers, I'd guess it's Doc Strange, and some or the rest of the crew will show up to stop Gladiator. I really, really hope this isn't leading to Daredevil having yet another woman die in his arms.

The final issue of the X-23 mini was also very good, and left me wanting more. Really I just wish the Wolverine book was more like it.

Maybe it ties into the "anti-Illuminati" thing that the New Avengers are getting into.

The Hood is supposed to be like the new Kingpin of crime ever since Fisk was in prison/left the country.

i doubt brubaker is going to have issue 100 be a tie-in with the new avengers. that seems like it would be kind of a waste. i think it's just a coincidence that most of matt's homies are in the new avengers now.

You know, although amusing, it's horribly out of place.

Because when Sandman dreams about you, bad things happen.

Shitting your pants would probably be more appropriate.

I find it funny that Nightwing last month had someone go for the jewels and had the good sense to be wearing a cup... but Jason doesn't.

I just don't see why somebody who clearly hates superheroes keeps writing them.

It's not like his critiques are very insightful, or that his jokes are particularly funny.

He pulled out the tired Batman fucks Robin joke, for the love of God.
