Thats gotta be the last mafioso! Come on!
Shorn Scrotum Man has been quieter than a dead mouse, and I even forgot he was in this phalla.
Seems like someone is trying to avoid attention...

You voted for someone other than a mafia yesterday, so it's not like your judgement is sound.

For me, I'm going The Cow King

    FINAL

"It's come down to the end here, Shirley. The cream cheese killer was found. The Cow King's Cheesecake was finally thrown away. Shorn Scrotum Man's Blackberry Pie went up against Lucedes's Brownie and Mordroth's Pancake and lost.

towndrunk34's Devil's Food Cake won the best dessert in class, but was easily defeated by Lucedes' Brownie and Mordroth's Pancake. And I'll be looking forward to getting home and having a nice big juicy steak!"

    Results
The Cow King (Cheesecake - Serial Killer) voted out
Shorn Scrotum Man (Blackberry Pie) killed by the mafia

Sooooo...I think that if I had not made a mistake at 2:00 in the morning and PMed Duna the mafia list, thus needing to add him to the mafia, the village would have done better.

Then again, the mafia posted like pros. It was a very close game.

Wait, wait - despite having eliminated a baddie a day, the village still lost? Man, and I thought the village was doing quite well, too... maybe I'm just too used to games with mafia sizes of 15-20% of the total player proportion. 24%-size mafia is quite large, but then again they only had one group kill. On the other hand, they were quite large and they had other abilities as well, including a seer. On the other, other hand, the village did get a lot of abilities themselves. Hmm... I suppose I have nothing else to say than good game.

And, I guess, love the non-standard tie vote rule. Somehow you made it happen where I've never had it trigger (and then phased out of my designs as a result).

12 mafia all aligned in a 45 faction man game with a neutral and a SK is way way too much. I thought that there were two mafias going with foreign desserts and other desserts, but even then it seemed like a bit much.

It was sort of like the warhammer 40k game where there was simply too much mafia for the village to reasonably be able to deal with.

I really liked the game and all, and I know other people have said it, but the was quite a large mafia presence in this game. I mean, the village nabbed at least one mafia a day every day until the very last one, where they still managed to elminate the SK. Essentially, the village hit a baddy everyday and still lost. That's not all that fun.

On the otherhand, I loved the theme, and the role I got. I managed to get some lucky hunches in there, and I somehow managed to never hit my own team woohoo!

and then I got a second PM containing all of the mafia members as a duplicate of someones role or something. not sure how that happened. It was the holy grail of day 1s as a villager...

yeah. we should have been dead.
there were too many mafias, though not by an overwhelming margin.
i think without our accidental thrall friend it would have been even.

on the other hand, there were double village specials, right?
we were sweating pretty hard while you guys had two vigs, a seer, a converter, and ?whatever else? still alive, PLUS a serial killer out there.

also, my personal goals were met:
--survived until the end (never happens)
--seered a mafia member! (also never happens) (oops)
    --flawless victory record as mafia

Nope, you died to the vote. 4 to 4. I double-checked. I just thought it was cool that you tied the vote on yourself, thus both dying to the vote and dying as the person who tied the vote.

I was just thinking about it and...I think that if the village had not tied the vote 3 times in a row, thus eliminating double their players, the game would have been pretty balanced. Thetheroo and MrBlarney both died based on a tie, and both were accidental. If they hadn't done that it would probably have tipped the balance in the village's favor in the end.

    vigilante

as in vigilante justice. the idea is similar to boondock saints 'take matters into your own hands to remove evil' shtick.

or just the definition of vigilante.

Wooo man :-D I may have been killed, but go Mafia! :)

I did a crappy job Busdriveing though, wasn't sure how to best use it. We must've tried to kill The Cow King 2-3 times, but I think we did fairly well :) Good game everyone!

after the first three times we tried to mafia-kill Cow King, we decided that it was a bad idea.

It's from a Blarney game, but I use it because of you. It's the "bandwagon Anonymous the day after he ties the vote" thing that pisses me off the most.

Oh, that's the other thing this game had: vote tying and dying. I couldn't believe how many times the vote tied, especially when I went out of my way to discourage it.

Well, that was a learning experience. I probably won't play this badly ever again, I hope.
(Inappropriate) BTW, pumpkin pie is my second favorite kind.

Ehm, I don't think that would have made it balanced. Especially since a couple of those ties were due to a ridiculously large mafia being able to have a tie when their guy should have gotten voted off cleanly. The romanqwerty vote on a seered villager was pretty egregious in this regard.

Consider instead if the mafia had gotten lucky and offed our vigs earlier. Then we would have been dead in the water, and maybe would have an outside chance at winning if we voted off a mafia every single day. As it was there were few less days to the game than there were mafia in a 45 man faction phalla.

9 mafia seems like it would have been a more reasonable number, and I think that would be toward the higher end of reasonable.

A mafia every day is good, but so is two every day! Clearly it's everyone's fault for not doing better. Except me, 'cause you killed me.

    Good game :). Brilliant theme!
