Hairdryer, hairspray, and pomade work best for me. I have medium length hair, my bangs are just past my eyes. Hairdry hair while it's curled on a brush, spray spray, crunch with pomade, spray, hair dry and comb.

As far as my hair goes there is no such thing. Hair must be hammered and chiseled until it resembles something normal and not stupid.

I have medium weight wavy hair. it is sort of a pain, unless I keep it cut short, but then it has no personality. I would like to do something with it, maybe the thing the silver-haired guy on Mad Men does, but I am a boring white guy who wears jeans most of the time.

I thought about getting some kind of pomade so I could do some kind of 20s hair style. I'm not sure I could really pull it off though.

I am thinking I need a haircut again though.

I keep meaning to go buy moustache wax, I should probably go to the barber tomorrow morning and get some.

Uggs, tight jeans or loose pajama bottoms and a puffy coat? That is a shame.

    Nobody wears pajama bottoms here.

Right now the typical get-up for girls is Uggs-ish shoes, patterned tights, shorts, oversized t-shirt and a shapeless green military... poncho-ish coat?

Also acceptable as a coat is a brown suede bomber-esque jacket with fuzzy white insides.

Anything black and grey and dressy is always acceptable.

I need to fix my non puffy coat before next winter. I was lacking in warmth this one past.
Wearing any warm clothes is a gamble here though, it often just clears up and gets warm without warning.
    Fucking Melbourne.

I bring this up any time anyone ever says anything about bomber leather jackets. My dad loves aviation and he has a jacket I am totally jealous of (that my brother and I bought for his birthday). It is from an American Squadron I believe, on the inside is a silk map of France / Germany and where the current front was. It is rad as shit and I wish I had it.

I dunno, I've got a thing for girls in androgynous clothes, so that doesn't sound bad at all.

Also, I've been using American Crew Fiber. It's a wax with good hold that works well when my hair is pretty short, say, 2-3 inches on top. But as it gets longer it doesn't cooperate as well. I am thinking of getting some pomade, but my hair naturally gets pretty oily (I got hell of body oils from those Italian genes) so I am worried it will make it look too greasy. I guess it's just a matter of quantity?
