Hello, I have been lurking around here for some time, all of you are fantastic so I feel a bit ashamed posting here.
I hope you don't mind me.
I am going to do a painting with watercolors but I am having some trouble with the pose
This is supposed to be a fairy, someone is yanking her leg (sorry if this is not the appropiate expression) and someone else her wings so she is trying to free herself pulling her leg. But I am not sure the pose is giving that impression.
I wish I had something good to post but all I have are silly doodles.
I like drawing mermaids and fairies.
@Campion: I like a lot the pose of the last pic, it looks very energetic.
1st, its good to see you using some foundations for your anatomy in the first drawing. Your structure is very basic, but its awesome to see that you're using it!
The bottom 3 are very cute, I the girl with the umbrella.
The sitting mermaid has some issues, if you had used the structure and foundations you were using on the first image, you could have fixed some of those problems.
Good work! I hope to see you more often on the forums
edit: but seriously, you're getting amazingly good with that crayon-esque style. the lines are delectable!
Aw thanks!
I've been using GIMP for a while and now I'm trying this Paint Tool SAI and it handles pressure sensitivity and line weight sooooOOOOoooo much better. I don't even know how I managed before.
haha yeah I had the same experience moving from Gimp to Sketchbook. I spent years thinking "god my linework is always so awful and takes me so long! I must really suck!" and then it turned out all I needed was a better program.
I wish SAI had a version for macs, I'd be all over that.
Iruka: That's looking pretty cool, although a little soft at the moment. Giving some of the shapes some harder edges would make it pop a bit more, I think.
This is a doodle that's quickly gotten out of hand and is demanding that I tinker with it a bunch more. A lovely cowboy Angel of Death.

I still got the stupid painted bit, and I guess I still got the boxy bit, I can layer one of the other and try again later.
In the meantime I've been working on this
I don't know about the pose, but I've been fiddling with it for so long.
I'd have the arms doing something more interesting, though.
Maybe doing the finger-steeple thing with the elbows on the arm rests or something.
Right now they kind of just... disappear.
edit: oh wait, they're not arms, they're a shirt collar...? Well shut my mouth.
I hope you don't mind me.

No don't look at me! Behind you!
Dammit, Charmander!
Squirtle use WATER GUN!
...no not SPITTLE, WATER GUN!
Dammit Squirtle!
Finished the set!
though
is squirtle spitting water simply to indicate that it's a water-type?
because that seems unnecessary
botflies
the bulbasaur just doesn't give a shit about anything.
There's a bigger size here
otherwise, i love it
It has no structure. I really should always sketch with pencil, first.
no words...
I have been messing around with doing line art with my eyes closed and then playing around with what is on the page:
I did a pinup doodle

Yay for greenscreening and 3dsmax!
doodling late always yields...interesting results
@DoR: That's pretty cool, and kinda creepy. I have to learn some more about this video witchcraft.
@kevin: Laser butt?
