Thanks, Doll, your recommendations go much further than the gang-pile on ninjai approach has. Spex is taking some time off to consider not letting something on the internet work him up so profoundly.

Of cooourse! I love making recommendations, and ninjai, feel free to PM me if you want some more. I get paid to talk about comics all day, and I love it. Especially when it involves spreading the word about the lesser-known stuff, and punching all the ugly stereo-types in the face.

If I were jailed and on the road to getting banned, I'd change my avatar to something inappropriate so that when I got banned, I'd have one little last fuck you.

Also, I'm not a mod in this scenario.

I'd like to change the topic to baking.

Because tonight I plan to make biscuits. I can now make homemade pizzas with relative ease, which is awesome. Its actually surprising how many bread type things don't require rising and are pretty easy to make!

After I get a handle on biscuits I'm going to go back to sandwich bread, hopefully by the time I move out I can buy flour in bulk and not eat wonder bread.

    Tam, you're my favorite.

And baking! Yay! My boyfriend likes to bake cakes mostly just because he likes to eat them, and baking is cheap.

I'm not big on sweets/cakes, but I do love to bake delicious pork pies.

Well, I placed 111th. Out of 50,000, that's pretty not bad.

I got about $200, too. It's not $60k, but it's still pretty cool.

Moms making pork chops, we're probably not going to do gravy but it will be southern and unhealthy.

MD, Pork pies sound good. Baking is crazy cheap which is great. I can make three pizzas for like half the price of one delivered. What I need to do now is figure out how to make them and freeze them. I'm also thinking I could make my own hot pockets.

DDV grats on the 200 bucks.

Iruka, you can freeze dough balls if you want to have more or less ready made pizza crusts. Just take one out of the freezer in the morning, cover it up, and it'll be ready to roll out and bake that afternoon.

Tam, I was hoping we could keep things a bit under wraps. I mean, He doesn't know yet...

    Grats DDV! Bragging rights ftw!

All of that sounds delicious, Iruka. Pork/meat pies are actually slightly pricier than other baking, and take way longer. I usually make homemade mashed potatoes, AND you have to cook the meat and everything first, then put it in the pie crust and bake it for almost an hour.

    Totally worth it, though.

I don't know. I would say let them rise, punch them down, freeze them, and then let them rise again.

    Thanks for the congratulations guys.

I wonder if taking money from bad players is an ignoble way to make a living. Not that I'm planning on trying to do so...but if it happens, then I might not object. It strikes me as something I could become very good at with a couple more years of practice.
