We've all done it
Maybe when we were younger and dumber or maybe when weren't that young and should have known better
This thread is for laughs and feeling better about how much better we are now

In college I got in an argument with a guy about whether The Imperial March was also called Darth Vader's theme. I went back to my room and found my CD as proof. When I came back he was gone and I was a left a bit ashamed at how important it seemed.

Just two years ago I forced my wife to stand in line to get a picture with Darth Vader at Star Wars Celebration at Disney World. Would I do it again? Absolutely. Am I proud of it? Not at all. I'm sure I'll remember more as the thread goes on

This a thread for moments we are not proud of. Moments we took are obsessions and our need to be right just a little too far. If you have no moments like that. If you are still proud as Hell about all the arguments you've had about stupid shit this thread is not for you.

    I've cosplayed on several occasions that were not really acceptable cosplay occassions

    just people wanting to go see some weird superhero movie that the 300 guy did and holy shit why is that guy in the filthy trenchcoat and weird black and white mask here holy god I think he's looking at me

    oh and also I get in huge, huge arguments about Oxford vs Harvard referencing

    (Oxford for life and if you disagree you suck butts)

    also I got into an argument with my brother and my dad about whether darth vader would beat yoda

    I remember I went to the Halo 2 launch in Sydney and was floored when the girl I liked from school was there. I was like HOLY SHIT SHE LIKES HALO. Turns out she was there to see the band that was playing and didnt give a shit about Halo.

    Then halo 2 turned out to be shit. My poor teenage self.
