Menolly07 and I are meeting in the InterContinental lobby at 8:50am in order to catch the 9:00am shuttle to the BCEC so we can meet up with the Westin girls. (cue singing: 'westin girls, east end boys')
Sadly, I'm officially not joining you ladies on account of making it through the concert round! You might've seen me taking off my shirt on stage (for those who WEREN'T there, I had a Wonder Woman tee on underneath, so no, I wasn't flashing PAX). I'm told I'm the first female contestant to make it this far in the Omegathon. I know you'll all be busy at brunch during my next round, but if I make it through to the finals, I hope you'll come cheer me on!
Operation tomorrow. We scrub in at 10:30. Wish me and my partner ALL THE LUCK. Have fun at the brunch! I'm with you in spirit! And in desiring something other than whatever crap I'll be grabbing from Starbucks!

Edit: Scratch that, we appear to have a transportation-related miscommunication on top of our cell phone alarm deciding it didn't want to change to Daylight Savings. Sadly, looks like I'm not making it. Have a fabulous brunch, ladies!

As painful as it felt to get up in time to make this after moving the clocks ahead, it was 100% worth it. I met so may great people and it was the perfect way to kick off the last day of my first PAX. Thanks to EruditeAphrodite for pulling this all together!

but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
this was totally one of the biggest highlights of my first pax. getting to hang out with some gamer ladies and the 'one of us' panel afterward really helped me feel more grounded after being set adrift on a sea of testosterone (aka too many xbox panels). it was so awesome to meet you all, can't wait to do it again next year!

Thank you to everyone who came to the girls' meetup. This is always such a blast and I couldn't do it without you guys. I especially want to thank everyone who prepaid, if it wasn't for you we wouldn't have been able to get our private room, which I think worked out very well.
Playing heartthrob, chatting with some wonderful ladies, having a morning cocktail and a yummy bruch is just about the best way to start my last day of PAX that I can think of. I hope to see you guys again at Prime!
Oh, and I was totally lame and forgot my camera. If you got pictures of the meetup please post them to the facebook event page so we can tag ourselves (should I make a PAX girls' group?).
