There's one scene that never fails to make me laugh, no matter how many times I watch it: the segment from Beast With a Billion Backs where Farnsworth and the team are at the scientists convention led by Stephen Hawking.
Every time Hawking makes that "oooooo" noise I lose it. Every time.
Mine is the "I could fit if I didn't have these damn arms! Ein, ein, ein." from Fry and the Slurm Factory. But I like a lot of the wordplay in there with the "When can we have some slurm?" "Soon enough!" "That's not soon enough!" and the like.
Plus apparently the guy who designed the grunka lunkas had never seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
The guy who wrote the episode had never seen it before which is even more impressive.
How is that even possible? I'm assuming they came up with the general concepts before they were so obviously...tailored to fit.

I'm guessing he might have watched it once during the writing process to get the general feel of it but he didn't have the nostalgia that everyone else would have had (possibly) tainting the final result. I mean, most of the jokes in that episode weren't really related to things that happend in CatCF but about the world CatCF established

An excellent opportunity to listen to the Fry and the Slurm Factory commentary!
...Apparently it is Matt Groening who had never seen the movie (and still hadn't by the time the commentary was recorded). They sent him rough drafts of the grunka lunkas that looked just like oompa loompas and said "These are horrible" and made them into the grunka lunkas.
Other highlights:
Lewis Morton - "The original name I had for Glurmo was Slurmy Slonka, which was ...uh..."
David Cohen - "Slurmy Slonka? You were going to have Slurms MacKenzie and Slurmy Slonka in the same episode?"
LM - "Yes...I'm very unimaginative."
John Dimaggio - "Who had the idea to put these shirts – those! The ones in Hebrew."
David Cohen - The Hebrew slurm?
John Dimaggio - Genius.
Lewis Morton - "I dunno...Well, I wrote the episode, so it must have been me!"
JD - "Yeah! You're a genius!"
LM - "The weird thing is, Hebrew Slurm looks almost exactly like 'shalom'"
DC - "To the point of being confusing."
Ron Hughart - "Yeah, we had to redesign that a couple of times, because of that."

That Bender anti-pimping laws scene is the greatest smash cut joke of all time.
A lazier show would have made that the episode (or at least a B plot). Futurama made every single funny joke on the premise in 3 seconds and instantly moved on to something with way more potential.

Luck of the Fryish is better than Jurassic Bark. Yeah I said it.
Also, the best part of Roswell That Ends Well is the Professor's zoot suit.
Yeah, just thinking about the reveal/twist in luck of the fryrish makes me all gay and teary
I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've watched it maybe eight times, and the only time I didn't tear up was the first time, oddly enough.
Maybe I was too young to appreciate it back then, but the second time I watched it it was like being punched in the stomach with a fist made of emotion.
I kind of wish it had been a porno. Would have made the plot make more sense.
I read the synopsis on Wikipedia and it still left porno status as being a viable option
When complications arise during her breast augmentation surgery, 20th-century exotic dancer Cleo (Jennifer Sky) is put into suspended animation. Waking 500 years in the future, Cleo joins two women in their fight against the Baileys, armed flying machines who now control Earth's surface. Her team leader, Hel (Gina Torres), is commanded by a mysterious female entity called "Voice," who relays orders via a communications implant under Hel's left ear. Voice controls many other teams and gives them their orders in a similar fashion, in effect forming a resistance to the Baileys, with their ultimate goal to retake the Earth's surface. Their final team member is Sarge (Victoria Pratt), whose sister belongs to a cult that regards the Baileys with reverence and willingly sacrifices themselves to them. Humanity has moved underground and built a complex of elaborate shafts and tunnels created by the "shaft builders" to survive the Bailey menace.

The first new season will be shown in "Summer 2011"
The guesswork is that the other two are "Summer 2012" and "Summer 2013"

Season 7 is supposed to start some time this coming June, and it seems LaMarche suggested that seasons 8 and 9 will premier in June 2012 and 2013, respectively.

I think it's season 6. They're not counting the movies.
And this is fantastic news! Better than when I found a beer in the back of the fridge!

Bender: "Hey, we're just a stone throw away from Tijuana. See! *Throws stone over wall*
Stereotype mexican voice: "Dios mia, a stone has fallen here, in the outskirts of Tijuana!"
Bender: "*yells* Is it within the city limits?!"
Mexican: "Si"

Though fully on topic I am super pumped about having 3 more seasons of futurama!
I also wish it had been a porno, but more because had it been a porno we'd have gotten Hot Gina Torres action and that would have been awesome.

One of the greatest moments in Futurama ever.
I still say Stephen Hawking in Beast With a Billion Backs is the best.
It catches you mid-eye roll with the assumption of the easy "neigh" joke, and slams it home so perfectly.
