Westward Aviation Networking Group
What it is: An attempt to group people together and the smallest amount of varying flights as possible, let it be connecting flight grouping or joining up the whole way down, you'll not have the feeling of sitting next to that sick and/or awkward person.
How: By putting up a list of flights that are recommended to go [and where to sit] and you book on them, though they are not always the cheapest; the market is just jumpy like that. Make sure to book in the desired seat area, if the airline allows selected seat booking; which most of them do.
Participation: Simple just reply with the following form:
Plane: Each of the flights will have their unique names, with the suffix PRE meaning a Wednesday flight.
Your Handle: Plus any additional +1's, 2's, etc.
Origin Town/Airport: Where you're coming/flying from.
Connection Arrival Time: If you're flying in on a unique flight and meeting up with a WANG flight, put when you arrive at the airport HERE.
Seat(s): You, and your possible traveling companions', seats.

Why are their no return flights from Seattle listed? Welp, if you depart anywhere from 0-2 days after PAX, you're going to hit A LOT of attendees in all major airports (assuming you don't leave too early). So hooking up on return flights shouldn't be as much as a problem as hooking up on inbound flights.

Speak up! Reply in this post that you're not getting any love, but if your airport is not a major hub (like Rochester International) it probably won't have a lot of connections and therefore won't have a lot of people going in and out of it as compared to a place like Atlanta International. Also, you'll probably be connecting through a WANG airport hub, soo check for WANG flight numbers when you're searching 2+ stop flights from your smaller aiport.
That WANG flight is more expensive than X flight that is similar! Hey man, the airline market is very jumpy (and the flights were cheapest at the time) and prices vary on date, plane booking status, and popularity of the flight... and I'm pretty sure many more complex algorithms go into the science of pricing these things! If we constantly change the flights, no one will be together, and hey... maybe prices will drop in like a week or more!

Looking at those videos and the awesome comments regarding the pre-PAX train ride up through CA, you'd probably want to pick them over this. If you somehow HAVE to fly, just book... not a lot of forumers should miss this experience if they were given the opportunity to board PAX Train.

Yes this is my first PAX. I have always been a big gamer, and never really knew about conventions. I am originally from Indianapolis, and I never even knew that there was a gaming convention in Indianapolis.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the one airline that has a non-stop from CLE (Continental) is charging $474 a pop. I'll look more into this in the chance I am wrong.
EDIT: If you fly in on Thursday, you can take United Airlines (which has Continental flights listed as well) and connect at IAH to get on the LOLCAT plane. You would pay $165 right now, it is a lot of travel time though. I'll continue looking up additional options...

At the very least it will be me. It's all up to whether or not The Boyfriend has (a) a job and (b) if he can get time off. If there is no (a) then he will be joining. And if the employers are nice and give him (b) then he will go.
