    YES, I was hoping out beloved Emperor had that card when he moved to the shield wall. The storm couldn't have moved better if it was controlled. It's a shame that nobody even bothered to want to see how much they would get screwed if the Emperor did have that card

    We pause while the Emperor asks for a kindness. The money for the treachery card was meant to be fronted by him, though no mention of it was made.

    It's up to you other players for it to be retconned or not.
