THE PHALLA THREAD CAN BE FOUND HERE.
A phalla is the PA forum version of the game mafia. The most basic games possess two factions, traditionally called “the village” and “the mafia”. The mafia is a secret minority who are murder the townsfolk until the numbers of the mafia are greater than the number of remaining townsfolk. The job of the hapless villagers it to use deductive reasoning and luck to successfully kill every mafia member via a vote each day.
More complex games can have multiple factions and special roles, such as seers, guardians and the like. Critical Failures has a good summary of the basic mechanics for a phalla game here. This phalla contains such special roles. Killing opposing specials and protecting your own will increase the likelihood of your success.
What is this Homestuck shit?
Homestuck is a webcomic produced by Andrew Hussie at MSPaint Adventures. We are borrowing many of the themes and game mechanics that will be used for this phalla from it. Being familiar with the comic may be beneficial for understanding and enjoying the phalla narrations, but is not necessary to effectively play the game.
Fine, how is this going to work?
I will be your host, with my partner-in-crime Zaprat.
This is the sign-ups thread. There are a total number of 70 spots available. To sign-up, post !Name. Because this is the first phalla in SE++ in a while and an entertaining game requires every member, particularly special roles, to actively participate, players will me limited to those who have been determined to have an arbitrary level of activity on the forums. You do not need 10000 posts, but you do need more than ten.
All players will be required to post in the phalla thread at least twice per day and must vote everyday. Please keep this commitment in mind when deciding to play.
All votes and special actions must be in by 9:00pm PST. All players MUST vote once a day or be kicked and/or replaced for inactivity. Similarly, all special roles must PM their actions to me by the same time or face similar consequences. If you choose to NOT use your special actions, that is acceptable, but you must still PM me your decision.

Sign-ups begin upon the posting of this thread and will end 2 DAYS from now. If we do not get the requisite seventy people, things will be adjusted to accommodate.

We have seen countless teenagers struggle with the inevitability of our coming. For our amusement, they lash out against forces they cannot comprehend. But, victory does bring them some consolation. A new universe is born to be their plaything, safe and ripe for their rule as gods.
Here is an excerpt from our Alternian publicity campaign:
sGrub is the latest hit game from a little known independent game developer. This game is even more exciting and dangerous than Flarp; bigger dangers! bigger thrills! Stop playing games for girls and start playing sGrub! Will you advance or abscond?
The path to victory will not be easy. It must be earned.
In every session, the Kingdom of Derse seeks to deny the players their goal. An army of pawns, lead by their feared Monarchs, will attempt to identify and destroy the interlopers. Through sheer numbers, they hope to overwhelm them. Within the ranks of Derse, however, all may not be as secure as it seems.
And, perhaps, there are others influencing the outcome of this game.
