Make Lexxy the vigilante that kills a person each night by putting them in an official flash.

AGH we FINALLY have a phalla and it's flipping mspa
I can't decide...argh
I think my first and only phalla was a wheel of time one and we were teammates. I think we even won. I wish this wasn't an mspa thing but oh well.
hmm wheel of time that doesn't sound familiar
Hmmm, maybe it wasn't that. I swear I was in a game with you, tossrock, and sotor(sotar?) as teammates.
well I remember I was in the Battle Royale one
wait
was it harry potter
it was harry potter, wasn't it

This is something I should have taken into consideration when designing the mechanics of this game.
There's still time.
I would prefer not to fuck up the first phalla in SE++ in years with weird mechanics that no one will understand.
I've run the numbers for Phallas before. I checked on game theory and other things to try and figure a good balance for good and evil.
With the numbers an SE++ phalla brings, unless you have things on the wire, adding a vigilante to the good guys isn't gonna hurt things.

It seems some people are kind of hesitant about this game because of the Homestuck theme. This is a pretty standard phalla with special roles. No super-weird mechanical shit going on.

The key to a good phalla is good audience participation and good narration.
Even if people don't show interest by posting in the thread, it's impossible to know what is going on behind the scenes.
When I ran the mod forum phalla a little while ago, I had no idea that there was a gigantic chess game being played through PMs involving unsuspecting parties
It was quite humorous to find out after the fact.

This is why I've hired a wordsmith to be my partner in this here venture.
There are also a few roles designed to have...interesting diplomatic consequences.

But the narrations are 99% of the fun of hosting a phalla, at least for me. The annoying part is the mechanics before the game and counting votes after it starts.

I prefer to listen to stories rather than tell them. To ensure other people enjoy the game, someone else needs to fill the narrator role.

I think they had a mini too, and maybe a third.
I was only in the second one though, which was the best one.

There was one where I pretended to have way more powers than I actually did.
I tend to do that a lot.

It's a good way to play. Balls of steel and the right words, as in real life, will get you much further than it ought to in a phalla.

I always try to do something memorable in a phalla.

If I remember the first battle royale correctly, I picked the escape with my buddy win condition, but then my buddy turned out to be a serial killer with their own win condition of being the very last one (1) standing
From day 0 I was doomed to lose no matter what I did, he'd just agreed to buddy up with me for the stat boost.
I got played hard
and then the same thing almost happened again the second time around, and with the same person, but they couldn't do it to me twice like that

I made a pact with my partner before the game that, even if the other one was a Lone Wolf, they'd kill me last.

The critical failures thread has a comprehensive list of all the old phallas.
I remember sending out hella PMs to everyone coming with us the day before our team did our hacker stuff.
"Are you suuuuure you're not a Lone Wolf?
You can tell me. It's okay, I'd be cool with it.
I just want to know if I'm gonna die a horrible death when we try and escape."

That comprehensive list does not list my phalla.
Therefore it has failed.

I just remember that I never read the harry potter books and I ended up being Harry fucking Potter.
Dave's pretty cool too.

Damn shame what happened to everyone.
