Virus, maybe?

My desktop has just encountered an odd problem. The d key no longer works. Its not a hardware problem, because the d key works fine when i plug the keyboard into my laptop, and the weird thing is that the d key also doesn't work from the software keyboard.

So... virus, I guess? I suppose I'll try scanning with MSE, and reformat if I have to.

    Uh, that's weird. Try a system restore to back before it broke.
