Last Of The Mohicans Painting

This is driving me crazy. There is a painting of some Indians in a canoe going down river. From an early 1900s illustrator. I'm not even too sure it has anything to do with Last Of The Mohicans, but damnit I cannot remember.

The painting is fairly green in a dense forest with I think a maroon canoe. The composition is close to this:

At first I thought it was Waterhouse, wyeth, cornwell, or pyle. But I can't find it from any of them.

The colors I think are like this:

I have been looking for this picture forever. So long I don't know if it actually exists.

Nope, but the painting style is close. The canoes are also sorta tiny in the one I remember.

    :(

    Maybe this?

when I think of canoes, I think of "fur traders descending the missouri", which is this

I'm not quite too sure. The second picture Iruka posted is closer, but the painting I'm talking about is zoomed out more. Also completely in a forest.

I might just be crazy though. Cus if this picture doesn't actually exist I'm going to have to make it exist.
