He’s a thousand years old, and he’s known her for maybe 48 hours. This is the equivalent of you or I having a nice conversation with someone on a short flight; it’s a blip in Thor’s total timeline.
Well, man, you wouldn't believe some of the short flights I've had
since Thor exists only as an introduction to the character for Marvel’s The Avengers
Uh, no
It was a pretty solid movie in its own right
I thought Natalie Portman was fine. She wasn't given a whole lot to work with
Yeah. Honestly, I didn't think anyone's acting was bad. There wasn't a single person in the film that made me go, oh wow. It was just all the things they were saying. And doing.
I agree with that article 100%, pertaining to their different ending, but I am sure the reason it didn't happen was because
it will be a plot point in The Avengers. They will probably figure out Loki is behind the Skrulls and then contact Asgard for help, allowing Thor to save the team at a dramatic moment.
I think that's where it could have gone, if it was like
a good movie.
But as it was, it *was* a movie where he
fell in love with Natalie Portman just because she was the female lead
. I like the line of thought in that link, that story would have been way more interesting.
Well maybe I'm stretching but it seemed to me that
she was smarter and better at dealing with shit then most people around her, as opposed to just being a viking lady who drinks and eats and fights. I'm not saying its a super deep romance, but he respects her. Also shes attractive, maybe he didn't grow up THAT much.

He knew her for like, a day. And he didn't even tap dat! No one's that interesting.
well you know, Thor doesn't really half-ass anything
I could totally buy that
he'd fall in love with a woman in a day or two then endlessly pine for her

Regarding Thor-Jane
It's shown at the end that Sif is dissapointed that he's taken by this girl from Midgard. Thor has been living in Asgard for thousands of years. Relationships probably move a hell of a lot slower up there. Thor is a take-action, live in the moment kind of guy. Which is exactly what Jane does. She's new & interesting & moves more at his pace.
The reason Hulk isn't higher, TLB, is because upon recent re-watching I realized how much I hate the Betty/Banner scenes. They draaaag.
I enjoyed Tony and Pepper and Thor and Jane much more because the dialogue was clever and the actors had great chemistry. I liked Norton of course but oh my god fuck Liv Tyler.
Hulk had the best fight scenes. And only because they were really long and super brutal. If the Thor and Pals fight scene lasted longer Thor would have that too.
I'm really glad that all these Marvel movies have a god damned sense of humor. That was my main problem with the Ang Lee Hulk movie, that it was so fucking grim.

When he was spinning that hammer, and popped a little smirk, that's a god I get behin-wait
a god I can throw down wit-

I'm a trained detective.
There's one other forumer who loves it, too
I want to say Fandy
It starts with an F

I mean, I know Loki says it, but it is a quick fix

I wanted to see that explored! Major bummer for me.
Well maybe I'm stretching but it seemed to me that
Iron Man>Thor>Iron Man 2=Incredible Hulk
I could totally buy that
but uh
Thor isn't a very complicated guy
Yes.
No.
But I'm also not a god, so I feel like I have an excuse. I certainly don't think to myself,
I have a feeling Captain America will be my favorite
Also your ranking is the wrong ranking
I pretty much agree with Blank
What is your ranking
Iron Man, Hulk, Thor = Iron Man 2
:^:
I buy that Thor characterization more than the Thor characterization in Thor.
I also hope that all the Avenger's women get left out of The Avengers, cause gosh how is that not going to be a really crowded movie.

And that is my sticking point.
Fuck Liv Tyler
Loki is the best Marvel villain.
Jeff Bridges is also better than Tim Roth.
Hulk had the best fight scenes. And only because they were really long and super brutal. If the Thor and Pals fight scene lasted longer Thor would have that too.
And Stane was all talk in the end.
I am talking about how enjoyable they were to watch
What spring does with the cherry trees.
