Each day as a player you must vote for a target in red bold. Such as !DrKippy. The "winner" of the vote will be made to walk the plank, sent to a briny sleep. Retractions are not necessary but may be done in !bold lime. Failure to vote will make me very angry and more importantly anger Levinactivus of the Deep.
Any and all orders should be sent to Infidel.
Each day there will be an event, starting with Day 2's narration. You will have (typically) until vote close to enter the contest. The contest will be to decide who is fit to captain the Salty Phalla next. Winning said contests will earn you Pirate Leadership Points the fastest, and you may even get PLP just for participation.
The pirate with the highest PLP each day will be awarded the Captain's Hat. It is very stylish, and demands some respect to the authority it represents. It will be very apparent who is wearing the hat and it may or may not change hands each night. To become the new captain at the end of the game, a pirate must lead in PLP.
There are items in this game. Items can be traded by PMing Infidel with the item and the recipient's name that you wish to trade. Trades will happen during the Item phase at night, no trading will occur during the day and the recipient does not need to be PM'd or confirm the trade.
Oh, really? There should be no reason to be scared of me, and in any case that shouldn't be any reason to place your first vote on me.
Unfortunately-timed computer problems may limit my output in this game, at least in the near future. I will try to find a way to keep my spreadsheets available, though there is no guarantee for that. And I was looking forward to putting together a powerful captains' campaign too... we will see how well that goes.

Quite a mouth on you there, Capfalcon... think you're ready to be captain? You can barely keep the deck scrubbed! Spit and polish, you dog! Might as well pour your rum ration straight overboard, for all the good you do on this ship!
Ah, rum... feeling better...

Oh, huh, Capfalcon is meant to be short for Captain Falcon
I always assumed he was just a falcon with a bro-tastic fashion sense
I'm gonna go with wildcat, doesn't sound like the sort of thing one wants loose on a ship.

Are ye daft, boyo? Is that rum or sea water that you're swiling? Not enough to slay the void in your head, says I.
None hate water more than cats. A cat aboard defends the ship with all nine of its lives, at once! Can ye imagine the fury of a cat defending the planks? No, I doubt you can.
Granted, getting a cat aboard, that's no picnic. But a wild cat aboard is a demon bottled.
My vote's cast for today, but you... I've got me eye on you.

NOW BACK TO THE GOOD PART
After electing their captain, the legendary pirate Stoutsparrow the Plunderer, the crew of the good ship Ten Tanks set sail out onto the high seas, seeking their treasure. Having been allocated a ship and store of forty barrels of grog by the benevolent B4B Corporation, they had nowhere to sail but forward into their futures and to their fortunes.
Captain Stoutsparrow, you've got several orders of business in front of you!
First, you need to allocate your crew to the three jobs - Decks, Sails, and Helm.
Crew on the Decks are the ones who swab the deck, man the guns and keep the grog flowing. When we check this job, we roll 1d6+crew on the job. If the total is less than 6, we have a Crew Event. Oh, and if we roll a 1, no matter how many people are on the deck, it causes a Crew Event anyway. The perils of life on the open sea!
Crew on the Sails man the rigging, hoist the sails, and keep the ship moving. The same check applies to this job as with the Decks, but there's two conditions for failure - one, we get a Sea Event, and two, the ship doesn't arrive at its intended destination. If we pass the check, we arrive at the Island, Port, or wherever else the ship is trying to get to. This is generall Bad News, as it (generally) means a week without any intake of grog or booty.
The last job, Helm, is more of a minor thing, but still important - the captain needs someone to keep him entertained while he steers the ship and mans the helm, and that's that crew member's job. You need a minimum of one crew member on the helm with the captain, otherwise he'll succumb to The Captain's Madness. Nobody wants that. Nobody.
So that's your job, captain! Tell us where you're assigning your crew, and whether you're setting sail for a Port or an Island.
Islands are the best place to get booty, no doubt about it. When you arrive at one, you'll declare who is going to explore it before we see what kind of island it is - of course, if you want to just have a standing order that all crew will explore the island when you arrive, I wouldn't blame you. More crew mostly means more booty! Mostly.
Ports are the place where you can buy more grog. There's also other stuff, but we'll get to that when we decide to hit a port.
Oh, and for the record, I'll be rolling all the dice involved, and randomly choosing targets of events, unless it'd be funnier to throw it to a vote. You're welcome!
Well, Captain Stoutsparrow, you've got your tasks set before you - make your decisions, set your crew. Then we'll set forth and start the Legend of the Ten Tanks!

Oh thank god.

Order of actions: Vote > Actions > Items > Kills
Game begins now, Day 1 will end 10pm CDT.
If you received two, it's because the villager PM was sent to everyone first.
Are you asking in game, or your own day-to-day life?

The Black Hole of Cygnus X-1
If there's a zombie curse sure.
To be absolutely clear however, I am saying that dead players should not discuss game-specifics with others, even dead players.
There's only room for one Captain on this ship!

Pretty opportunistic, aren't you? That kind of unchecked ambition could get us all killed,

Ye clearly don't have a stylish pegnose like some of us.

Are you sure you want to get rid of Captain Planet, Cap'n Falcon?
Are these the kind of problems you want to deal with ?
WE NEED PLANET and the coach FOR VERY SPECIFIC ISSUES
......you have other things to tend to
