WEEK TWO
"To port," came the resounding cry from the crew, "We've only enough grog to last another fortnight!"
With Anthony on the helm with the captain, all goes well - a few terse words, here or there, but Stoutsparrow's overpowering presence and physique keeps the scrapping young man under wraps.
The decks work find and dandy as well, Skyler the Killer finding no reason to have to shoot Bandalor Grieg, as the lad manages to keep his fighting words to himself, much to Shaka's beard's relief. With a mind on their grog and their grog on their mind, the decks are kept clear and free of any mischief, and no trouble befouls them. (Decks Check: 6 + 4 = 10, SUCCESS)
Without any shenanigans coming from Anthony, instead they have to deal with Rocky Grifterfellow working sails, a job that seems relatively out of the ordinary for a man without opposable thumbs, or fingers of any kind to think of. Surprising everyone, he manages to demonstrate a remarkable dexterity with his feet, tying ropes and hoisting sails with the best of them. Nobody really wants to touch those ropes afterwards, though. Lord knows where those feet have been. (Sails Check: 6 + 6 = 12, SUCCESS)
"Smoke on the horizon," comes the cry from the crow's nest, and the crew cheers with delight. Sailing closer to the safety of civilisation, the crew prepare themselves for some good old fashioned rest and relaxation. Also whores. Lots of whores. Soon after arriving, however, they find themselves at a port with...
THE CON ARTIST
As soon as they land, the brave and dread Captain Stoutsparrow is asked by a young, trustworthy-looking man if the infamous Stoutsparrow would like to buy a discount coupon for discount whores and grog at the finest brothel in port. Jumping on the opportunity, Stoutsparrow pays the young man 10 Booty, and continues to walk up towards the port's brothel, only to arrive at an abandoned building with the words "NO BROTHEL HERE". After realising that the coupon was made of a banana skin and had misspelled "whoors", Stoutsparrow cries out in anger! He's been conned!
Giving chase, Stoutsparrow soon comes across the young man and draws his sword, demanding satisfaction. Realising he's been beaten by the best, the young man returns the gold, and also offers to join the crew of the ship! What a bargain!
New crew member gained! The first person who wants to be this new crew member will be added to the game.
The crew disperses, after all that, taking their 1 booty allowance. -13 Booty

b) How many crew members you'll be recruiting - a new crew member costs 1 Grog and 1 Booty
c) How much booty you'll put in the bank - there are events which can subtract from your Booty total, banked Booty is immune to those effects, but inaccessible unless you're at a port
d) Whether you'll be going to an Island or Port next week

I say we be needin 3 rations of grog per crew member. That means +11 grog (39)/-11 booty (29). To ensure we all have a booty in case we be scattered by the HMS Scumbucket, I say we leave 17 booty to the bank - 1 per crew member, 2 for our first mate and 4 for our cap'n (12 left).
