This will start sometime tomorrow (Weds). I was going to start it tonight, but real life interrupted.

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
So for a guy new to the phallaing what is the best way to avoid being thrown under a bandwagon?
The best way is to not ask how to avoid bandwagons.
I'll quote some dude who summarized thusly:
Behaviorally, generally speaking, villagers are passive. They aren't really concerned with trying to look like a villager. And for most villagers, all that death really signifies for them is the end to their enjoyment of the game. Mafioso are, or should be, concerned with how their actions are perceived. Also, they generally have a much higher allergy to death.
So its not just the behavior you analyze but also the thought process that went into that behavior. Of course, that is difficult to judge. Timing is often a big clue - when they vote and when they make comments. The more you know about a player, the better you can read them.
In my experience, the perfect villager usually isn't a villager, because villagers frankly don't care enough about how they look to everyone else to be careful. Total non-suspiciousness is - as ridiculous as it might sound - in and of itself a bit suspicious. Every villager looks a little suspicious from time to time. The ones that coast along without doing anything worth thinking about while maintaining a non-suspicious level of activity are people to be wary of. It doesn't necessarily prove anything, but it is a concern.

Name: Van Alvez
Description: Petite as most elves are, Van's presence is small and unobtrusive. His pale skin, from his many hours spent indoors and his once splendid robes, now faded, mark him as a young scholar. The disgraced elf has his silver hair buzzed short, and his severe eyebrows plucked. He glares at those around him with disdain, but often can be seen sitting alone, staring at nothing with longing and regret.
Background: Roman's assistant, when Roman was stripped of his title and power, so too was Van cast out from elvish society. Is extremely bitter about this fact, and resents his old mater heavily. Despises humans for not being elves.
Quote: "Kill all humans."
