Yeah, I don't blame you, I do the same thing with comics that I read. I usually wait until a bunch of them build up and read 'em all at once. I realize it must be annoying for people that want to know what happens next in my comic, that I can only get a page done once every couple weeks, so that's why I'm going to try a different approach for the next issue.
Hopefully the next few chapters will be better, too. I introduced a couple mysteries in the beginning (what is Mandy's daughter doing on the plane, and another which I don't wanna say too much about because it gives away an upcoming plot twist) without really knowing how I was going to resolve those issues. But I'm writing that stuff now and hopefully people like where the story is going. I don't really know anything about writing comics so I'm learning as I go.
This is the first time I've ever scanned in my inks on FoLD before applying ink wash, but I'm doing it this way to place the inks on top of the final artwork in Photoshop, in order to darken the line work up. Crits and comments welcome, and it's big so I linked it.

Final page of hour three. Thanks to everyone who read and offered critiques on these pages. I'm taking a break from Flight of the Living Dead for a while so I can finish up The Sundays #1, and also rewrite the next chapter of FoLD, which will be eighteen pages long. I'm going to finish most of the pages before I put any of them up on my website, although I'll probably continue to post them here as I do them to get critiques. Then I'm going to do a six-week run of three pages a week, then take another break.
Definitely print out many, many more extras for San Diego. That shit will fly off like madness.
Well, I'm not going to have a booth or anything at SDCC. I'm just going as a fan, and I'll be giving out copies to a few different publishers to see if they want to pick my comic up. But I won't be selling these or anything. I think once I get The Sundays #1 printed up I'll get a table at some local cons and sell those. Most likely at the Big Apple Con, maybe at the New York Comic Con in February. If I get The Sundays finished in time for Chicago Wizard World I might do that, although it's farther away. I think that's in August, but I'm not sure.
Well, for what it's worth, I'd have picked it up. Not exactly renowned as a bastion of good taste around here, but I know what I like :P I keep forgetting about this, for start...
I love the last frame of the latest page, but the first frame doesn't say "turbulent aircraft" to me so much as "jitterbug in a foyer". I mean, it's blatantly obvious what's going on considering where it's set and what's just happened, but it doesn't look much like a airplane's corridor.
Oh, and I have to admit that if The One hadn't pointed it out, I wouldn't have realised the cockpit was splattered with blood on that page :? Maybe do as he recommends and break up the droplets a bit, or add a barely-visible silhouette or something?

That'll be one of the changes I make to the print version.

I sent these pages to Comixpress and they approved, so soon you will be able to buy the first issue right from their website for a measly three American dollars. Right now I'm working on hour four, and I have three pages done. I would scan them in to get critiques but my computer isn't working (typing this from my Wii).
I finished writing the script for hour four today . What I've decided to do is, rather than put 'em up Mon-wed-fri like PA, I'll just put up three pages every Monday. It works a lot better like that, so I reordered the pages to take advantage of this. So the story is told in 3-pg episodes where we see the same characters for 3 pages, then next week it's other characters.
Hopefully this will be less confusing and frustrating than the last series.

If you go back a few pages, I probably told the whole story. Their movie was called Plane Dead, then a few months ago they found my comic, and actually called me to let me know they were stealing the title, and asked me to sign over the rights to the name for no money, and I told them where they stick their contract. That's the last I've heard from them, although I'm glad they've added "outbreak" to the title, to at least differentiate it a little from the comic.
I really enjoy reading what you post here, where as I'm sure this film I won't enjoy watching (assuming I would even give it a shot.)

After reading the first two hours (story time) I was intrigued. If I saw this in a store I would definitely buy it. The beginning seems a tad rushed, but that could work to your advantage in the end. The fact that it starts to happen so fast kinda catches me as the reader off guard. Great stuff!

True. I did that because I put the first eight pages up all at once and I wanted to get the zombies into the story in the first installment. But in retrospect it is a bit rushed.
