Dive kick -> any button -> any other button -> charge hyper-> kill character -> dive kick -> XFC -> kill two characters at once -> move stick downward over and over as fast as possible.

i played MvC3 the other day with a sixaxis. it was incredibly hard.
also the fact that i was playing for about half an hour with the Medium and Special attacks flipped, because my friend is weird.
The entire time I'm like "My special is broken, what the FUCK" and then he would take the control and be like "nah, man, its working just fine" Without realizing he uses a custom layout.
anyways, im excited for AE, even though I haven't played SSF4 yet.
The first time I ever beat this game was with Rogue and Gambit.
I'm so glad I lived two hours away from the nearest machine. The fact that every character pair had an ending would have completely wrecked my shit if I'd had more access.
They didn't have an ending for every character pair, just for every character. You beat Apocalypse, then you'd get the single ending of whichever character landed the finishing blow on the boss. Same as in MSHvSF and MvC1, except that XMvSF had a bonus stage of fighting your other teammate before you'd get the ending.
One ending for each character means 17 endings. One ending for each unique team (counting Rogue/Gambit and Gambit/Rogue as the same team) means 136 endings. Capcom probably didn't even think about doing that much extra work if they didn't have to, even if it is just two still pictures and a few lines of text each.
17 * 17 = 289, if every character could team up with themselves, and both sides of each team (A/B and B/A) counted separately
17 * 16 = 272, without allowing characters to team up with themselves, and both sides of each team counted separately (Gambit/Rogue getting a different ending than Rogue/Gambit)
17 * 16 / 2 = 136, without allowing characters to team up with themselves, and each pairing only counted once (Gambit and Rogue getting the same ending, regardless of team order)
And coming up with 272 unique endings when you could come up with just 17 instead is way too much extra work for them, especially in the mid-90s.
that's bullshit, you're both just as good as i am with your respective characters. his vega is irritating enough as is without you teaching him anything.

Hella miscommunications:
He bodied me over and over with his Vega, and then we started randoms, and our last match was me on Claw and him on Juri, which I won, prompting that joke post seen above
And when I said "worse", I meant he makes me feel more scrubby and confused than you do.
Bam.
Problems solved.

I've been trying to figure out
What is the gootecks shimmy? I googled and youtubed and found nothing.
What other fighting games have actual links like Sf? I don't think I have played any, most you can input buttons during active frames of another attack

Links are in every fighting game (vs. series, vampire savior, etc) they're just of more importance in sf.
You know what's always fun? Playing high level opponents for the longest time, then playing a complete scrub fart shit, and almost getting your ass kicked because you're not used to so many wakeup shoryukens/ultras/etc.

Without lariat assist
I just wanna learn another character that might work better for me.
Then again I'm in a really weird place where I can beat any of my friends but online I can't beat anyone.
wolverine is just widely considered both the best and easiest to learn character, so its weird that you'd want to drop him
I actually have more trouble against my brother of all people I play against, he's really aggressive and can chain some really long combos.
How do you counter a team air combo?
Hit the same direction and s as they do
I'll stick it out with logan for a bit.

PARKER, YOU'RE FIRED! <-- My comic book podcast! Satan look here!
I loved Juggernaut in those old games. He was just SO BIG
It wasn't as special in MVC2 though

balrog c.jab, then you stand up for a split second to bait the throw tech
then you wreck face
even though it only worked for keno that one time and now everyone wants to do it
even though the only reason it worked for keno is that no one ever does it because it's about the stupidest thing you can do
although I might fuck up wake-up ultra on the stick for a while. Let's just call that a "mix-up", though
or a "mind game"
Want to play some later? A little pre-AE practice?
come onnnn
I don't know!
