Famous last words, village - Don't buy into warban's stupid BW. It'll just make this game go another day. That last Arcadian is out there but I'm not it and more of you will be killed by whomever. Think about it and check the records.

I don't post a lot in the early part of the game, I get wacked. (See here.)
There's no reason to kill me for my inactivity. It was my choice to stay low as an experiment this game to try to survive.
Of course, democracy is that mistaken belief that the majority knows best the majority of the time.
Have we learned nothing from Salty Phalla?
I died as a good mate there, too.
I don't care if I die, really, (I'm only one experiment), but the village is hurting itself here.
There's probably one more Arcadian around and the village is wasting another day that it could be killing a baddie.
Seacrest out!
BTW, you're assuming all neutrals got masoned together. Really? Is that how Ed set this up? I think you are reading into the previous games or your vision of this game.

stever777 lets humor the theory that you are an experimental and my seer is some how wrong. Firstly There is a chance this could be correct except that you would be the first out of 5 people he Seered which he got wrong. He got me right, he got Infidel right, He got Langly right, he got someone else right who I can't remember of the top of my head correct and he now seered you. The village had a 100% seer. He never got guarded and never got hit. The village was very lucky.
On the off chance that my seer did get you somehow wrong there is only one other player who could be the mafia, And for good measure they are being dealt with anyway. The truth of the matter is that besides you and this other person the network knows about every other living person in the game. Everyone is vouching for someone else in some way. There is nowhere left to hide for the mafia.
I have more thoughts on other things that happened in this game but i'm going to wait till it's over.
Warban I am posting from beyond the grave to tell you that you are doing good work, but you have been spelling except wrong for a while now. But since you're spelling expect instead, spell check doesn't catch it. Or maybe a few people have been doing it and I am combining them into just you, I'm not sure. Well anyway, got to get back to Hell.

THE SEER COULD BE THE LAST ARCADIAN.
IT IS POSSIBLE.
I AM PRETTY SURE I DESTROYED THEIR GUARDIAN AT ONE POINT.
NOT THAT IT MATTERS.
HE WAS INEFFECTIVE.

Stever777, at one point you called me evil. While it may seem that way from your standpoint, you do not really understand good or evil.
While you have been running around like children playing Cowboys and Indians, involving all sorts of innocent bystanders, we have been doing the work of adults, surviving in a harsh universe.
Real power does not come from a gun or a bomb or telekinetic powers or giant building crushing robots. It comes from a willingness to give up your fears and personal objectives to work towards a larger goal.
Arcadia is not an ideal or a political party, for all your claims of representing it. Arcadia is ultimately the people who live here, the very people you and your allies have been destroying with your terrific actions.
I only hope that your example will make people seek change inside the system instead of working against it.

...and W. Oreh, a humble guard, threw himself into the intangible projectile's path.
"That doesn't even make sense!" Stever roared in anguish. "No! We were so close! I had him! I had--"
He vanished amidst red and purple light, dragged off to a fate unknown.
--- --- ---
"Listen you clanking heap of junk, killing me solves nothing! I didn't touch Ledifni! The Guild shot him up, and one of my colleagues made him vulnerable..."
"YOUR UNDERLING WAS FOLLOWING YOUR ORDERS."
Alegis had backed into a wall, both figuratively and literally.
"But it wasn't me! There are others you should hold responsible! More, uh, responsible than me!"
The half-crazed self-confessed murderbot paused.
"I RECOGNISE THE LOGIC IN YOUR STATEMENT."
Alegis sagged with relief. "Yes! Yes, you know it makes sense..."
"THEY WILL HAVE TO DIE TOO."
Alegis sagged further, because his neck had been snapped.
--- --- ---
Councillor Wiet fled the planet, staring ahead at nothing as his ship sped him away from all that death.
The console lit up, automatically accepting a call from his superiors. "The mission was a success?"
"I was the only survivor!"
"Did you meet your objective?"
"Yes, but--"
"Excellent."
The call terminated.
--- --- ---
"Presumably you've contained the incident by now?"
"You damn well better have, after all the people we've killed."
"Not that it took effort. It was a bit dull in fact."
"The gate is closed. But it... it..." President Spelton groaned. His voice sounded... different. Croaky and unpleasant, like an alcoholic frog. "Something... already came through..."
"That's news to us."
"Yes, you never mentioned that when you invited us here."
Spelton's fists clenched. "I am here to destroy you all."
He shuddered, and his skin... kept on shuddering. Rippling over him like boiling tar. He grinned, and his teeth gave way to smoke and his eyes glowed and his entire figure became a mishmash of swirling colours and crackling light and--
The Renegade and Quicken exchanged a glance.
Two minutes later the Deputy was staring at the Spelton-esque stain on the floor. That was not a sight he had expected to return to.
"I guess you can consider yourself promoted?" Quicken suggested. The man just gaped at him.
"We knew Spelton was one of us the moment he contacted us. But I don't think the poor man realised himself."
"At least not until just now. Still, glad you idiots didn't let something like Primaphorior in."
"Lesser entities like the one that possessed Spelton? Small fry."
"I can do those in my sleep."
"Who the hell are you people?" the Deputy finally got the words out.
The two had already vanished.
--- --- ---
"Extermatott, right? What an interesting name."
The Arcadian started and urgently scanned the whole area. When his back was turned, both the Renegade and Quicken appeared behind him.
"Now see, it's like this," the Renegade began casually. "The robot didn't care about you enough to kill you, and neither did the Experiment."
"What happened to Project Gamma anyway?" Quicken asked.
"The Arcadians made his head explode."
"Neat trick."
"I survived the rest of the Guild's attacks," Extermatott interrupted in a tone that was bold and, in circumstances when the two transmuters weren't in such a good mood, suicidal. "You don't scare me."
"We should," said the Renegade.
"Yes, we really should. Either of us could kill you in the blink of an eye."
"With the blink of an eye, in fact."
"The point we're making is of course you survived the attacks of the peons with nothing more than a few injuries."
"But tomorrow? They'll all come for you. And nothing you can do will take out the last of their team, not when they're on their guard. It's impossible."
"Yes, that objective just flew away I'm afraid."
"But by all means," the Renegade shrugged expansively. "Stay here. Shout your stupid slogans and die a heroic, pointless death."
Quicken smiled. "Or you can retreat, and start it all over again later. Your call, hero."
"But the rest of my squad. You killed them..."
The Renegade looked pensive. "They're probably still around here somewhere. I beat the shit out of them, but they'll probably survive."
"But you were ordered to destroy them..."
"Exactly."
"Nobody orders me to do anything."
"Nor me."
"We were only here in case Primaphorior showed up."
--- --- ---
"I have come to a conclusion," said the Enforcer Mech. "I am going to let you turn yourselves in."
His voice was quietly level by his standards. It was being transmitted across half the planet, throughout the various outposts and bases of the Guild.
"I am serious. I have decided that if the remainder of Ledifni's killers hand themselves over to the proper authorities, I will cancel my attack protocol.
"Ledifni always put his duty first. I cannot afford to slaughter everyone on this planet forever.
"But know this. I am an expert in human anatomy. If the man who fired the killing shot does not comply with my request, if they reject the offer of a custodial sentence, I will find them. I will injure them. Then I will heal them back to health. Then I will repeat the process.
I will repeat the process until they are nothing but a screaming, limbless torso. If they fall over, I will put them back upright. And then I will watch them starve to death.
YOUR. CHOICE."
--- --- ---
"I wish we could take the robot with us. I really do."
"You know how it is with accessories. Buy one, and they release the next model two weeks later."
--- --- ---
L. SKD, the barrier-shaping Experiment, watched Professor Dner curiously.
"What are you doing?"
"Oh, organising samples. You know how it is. Change of management, but beyond that..."
"What of?"
"Genetic material. I picked up some traces when they were passing through."
"Fiaryn and Nialliv?" L. SKD asked.
The scientist placed the container in storage with great reverence. And he shook his head, smiling.
"From the Renegade and Quicken."
