perfect casting for these roles
alpha didnt really sell out beta, we were never given a name. The only one we killed was 38doe, which was redirected from the arcadian assassin firing at me. Picked someone laying low for my redirect targets to avoid picking up a nullify.
Medical practitioners of your calibre are always in demand, and never more so than in the middle of a worldwide crisis. You never actually passed basic training but that hasn't stopped you before.

Lets be fair here.
My bloodlust killed a lot of people AND myself.
It's...it's just what I always wanted. Don't grudge me too hard EO.
And kime, the last surviving Alpha member would've ended up being a psionic operative in powered armour. Cheesing it all up.
But they wouldn't have actually been all that tougher than they were as one of the last two survivors. I didn't want the mafia to successfully nuke everyone and be left with one nigh-invulnerable player left that they just couldn't kill
A robot the height of three men and the weight of three hundred sits in a comically small, wooden chair, at a comically small, round wooden table, in a kitchen. White curtains with some sort of red pattern, maybe apples, hang from the windows.
The robot sits, his hands supporting himself on his knees, staring down at an open hardback sitting on the table. Everything is perfectly still.
Until he throws his hands up in disgust and frustration, swatting the table away and splintering it into a thousand pieces. MURDERBOT IS NOT LITERATE. MURDERBOT HAS NO NEED OF YOUR DOCTOR SEUSS. HE DOES NOT DESIRE TO READ OF YOUR GRINCHES AND WHOS.
His rage then calms, and he slumps back down, crushing the chair on accident, and making a disappointed whirring noise.

What, you mean in sense of who's strongest? It all gets skewed depending on the kind of roles they're interacting with, and what the story called for.
I mean copied verbatim the Renegade in Prelude wouldn't stand a chance in Armageddon, but compared to the rest of his game he was easily the most powerful single role. Armageddon's Figureheads were strong but equalled out by each other, with the possible exception of Rend's always-overpowered Time ability.
In The New Renegade the titular character was the strongest role there was, even though in-universe she's only as strong as Quicken or the (Original) Renegade. And the infamous Tech Renegade (False Primaphorior) was an example of a power accumulator who actually managed to max themselves out (even going as far as killing Infidel, when he ended up being converted to his faction). You somehow persuaded people you were invulnerable despite the fact that using Oblivion meant any damage you recieved or dealt would be fatal. No wonder they killed you off in this game...
And don't forget group powers. The High Council's Martyrdom power, in terms of sheer numbers, potentially deals more damage than anything else ever seen in the series.
So accounting for everything, probably still the Tech Renegade, followed by Renegade incarnations with Time, Prelude's vig-immune Behemoth, and Rainfall's New Renegade.
And you guys don't even want to know what I have in mind for the real Primaphorior.
Props to Ringo, Balefuego, Marth, Peccavi & Extermatott for running our Arcadian faction so well. I was, shall we say, less than useful. (RL, work & all...)
Also, that vote close at GMT was a throw off but that's the fun of the Internets!
(It's a series of tubes.)
Out of curiosity, why did Alpha team tell me to stay away from Rend, since he was allied with us?
That was on my behest. I talked with Rend, he told me that him living wouldn't harm Alpha's goals, so I passed on the word to Alpha and told 38th to tell Beta. No need to kill a neutral that isn't dangerous to you.
Good god. Reading up on all this, I had no idea that Alpha would sell out Beta. It didn't occur to me that they'd be that backstabby, not towards a team that shared their win condition and was a gamewinner for the mafia if vanquished. I guess they thought that the High Council would be more helpful, seeing as Beta had been hobbled early game.
Still... it matches the fluff. I imagine the Pinnacle Guild are cold, calculating, rational, and not above killing their own if they think it'd help.
It really surprised the day the last day I was still alive how cold-hearted (and almost non-practical) Alpha Team was. Not acting on the Teucrian information in any way. Leaving Beta Team to rot which I think had 38th eventually coming to me and then we were on IRC and I kept asking him if he asked for certain clarifications.
edit: Granted as RG told me in chat I shouldn't have attempted the Teuc attack by myself and should have gotten AF's help, but had a lot on my mind the brief time I had..sadly (that day). And I was told AF was in contact with both teams when I started talking to him after vote close. So it seems LH's death was unnecessary. I have no idea why Alpha didn't pass the info on..Beta was apparently a nervous wreck..

Pffft, Beta Team was useless with their puny guns. Power of the mind is the only real power!
Also, the Teucrian decision was.... debated, haha. Not a unanimous decision. Some of us have hearts!
Reading some proboards, I have noticed two things:
1) People were way too paranoid about me, particularly warban. Were you scared little boy?
Yes, my behavior would of been different if you didn't seer as Dom. When I asked
You on IRC if you would backstab the village I knew at that point you had to kill alpha. And I was scared of you getting the seers and slowly winning it for the village only to be in the best postion end game to kill us.

I don't think you'll get the nuances so I won't go over it all.
I just find it hilarious how much you accredited to me in your paranoia when all I was was "hey it's Infidel and he's seered and outed again like always."

I hope they had gotten Alegis to agree to giving them a lot if they were planning to tell Alegis who the beta members were. I mean sure, maybe tell them if they had a member confirmed as non-beta but village aligned if the high council was planning to attack someone, but selling them out seems a bit much.
Don't quite get the attack on Infidel either, let the mafia handle him :P. If I lived I might have tried to eliminate any non-outed Domarians (I thought there were more than two) and saved Infidel for last. An Alpha/High Council win was definitely the right thing to aim for over a Beta/Domarian win due to how the game played out (lots of early exigent deaths, no arcadian order deaths, gimped beta team).
Wait, do I have it right that warban thought extermatott was the last beta team member and alpha team attacked him to help the High Council?
Because thinking you are betraying your allies and accidentally killing your real enemy is just too perfect.
This game was much more complex then I thought behind the scenes, reading over the alpha team proboards was really interesting.
Glad to see you did not trust me considering the mafia teams had seers themselves, though the reason was kinda funny.

We talked a fair bit and gathered a decent amount of info, probably a pretty good read if you're interested.
Edcrab: What would have been Alpha's last ability gained? By the end we were really powerful! :P
Thanks for running! It was a blast, as usual. Phallakinetics will always be important in Phalla History.

@Infidel: Tell me about it. Nobody had any great issue with "Domarian" in the prior games, I have no idea what changed here.
