Okay, one last thing before I go to bed. I got a lot of emails from people sayign thanks for all the hard work. I read every single one. It means a lot more to me than you know...
That said, the hate mail I got was all of the standard variety. There was one piece of correspondence that was a gem that truly sparkled. I thought I would share with you all. Behold!

still don't got shit and u kno why? Because ur being a lil bitch, u
don't want people to ever post again, that makes me and my lil friends

Uh. Are you sure this wasn't mean for someone at GameFAQs or something?

    Anyway.

To me the most annoying thing about the downtime was people in the IRC channel thinking it was funny to keep going "zomg the forums are up!" and seeing how many people fell for it.

No way, the times I did it were way funny.

Oh right yeah, because I can't be critical of something thats free. Oh wait, yes I can.

Im just saying that as far as I could see, the forums worked fine, then they got taken down for a long time with very little information getting out, then they come back broken.

Is it nice that alpha does this for free? Yes. Could it have been handled better? Yes, very much so.
