I think this will be the first year that we will have rectangle buttons.
The lack of them prior and any awareness by a lot of us makes me think that it is a new addition for PB this year.
To be honest, I did see the rectangles as a choice on PB last year; but I think everyone was overwhelmed by the Big Red size--yes, calling it that henceforth--maybe they were too shy for doing any other size aside from the the three immediate circle size and the square.
But! I do embrace this new adventure of rectangles. Now if we can get someone to do the ovals.

Alright, after an all nighter I've added oval and rectangle support to the Buttoneering app. I've also added "real" cropping so that the images of your buttons more accurately portray what people will see (I used to cheat using border-radiuses in CSS). Additionally, if you have some other shape or just want to crop the images yourself, I added a checkbox to turn off my automatic processing.
If you used the forum code export to link your buttons here, the thumbnails have been automatically updated.

Your button design is not square. It should be a 567x567 image if you're going to go with the 1.5" buttons, so you may want to check up on that. It also made for terrible looking thumbnails on Buttoneering!, but now I can accommodate non-square graphics for buttons that are supposed to be square.
In other feature news, there is now an Atom feed for the event buttons if you want to keep up to date as people add new ones. I made it for VThornheart, but maybe someone else may want it in their feed reader as well.

Just did up my button for this year. It's a bit simple, but I really just wanted to showcase my new avatar.
So my husband and I are planning to buttoneer for the first time this year. Yay! In previous years we've been asked if we are buttoneers because we have so many industry buttons and band buttons on our badge lanyards, but we've never previously actually buttoneered. Unfortunately, we are terrible procrastinators. I know purebuttons.com says 7-10 days plus shipping. Should we be ok, both with getting our buttons and posting to buttoneering.org in time as long as we have our orders and posts submitted by, say, mid-July?

I sorta like procrastinating for designing my button. I mean, I know it's gonna incorporate my avatar, but what game or social event should be combined with it? What if something really funny or awesome happens in late July that I'd rather use than Portal? (Cause I really do wanna do something with Portal, but I'm thinking that's just my last month of gaming talking.)
