What I hope for PAX this year...

    Leomgrenades, this will be my fifth year to PAX Prime and until last couple of years I was not really into games that much. I guess they scared me because I only new old retro games. I've found still being new to this, that if I just try each one out I can figure out what I like and not run from something just because I'm nervous about playing. My best suggestion is just to tell her to try anything she wants and if she needs help with a game be here (that was necessary for me). The guys now in my group help me with games because I'm still a little hopeless with playstation and xbox controllers.

    Use shoe inserts. I cannot recommend this enough. Your feet will still hurt after three days of PAX, but they will merely ache rather than be pain incarnate.

    Remember to break in the inserts along with the shoes about two weeks prior, though. It takes a bit for the inserts to form to your feet.

    Also, pack extra socks in your backpack or whatever you carry around while at the show, and change them once your feet get tired. It's like you just got a new pair of feet!

    Its only my 3rd year so I'm not sure if it has happened before, but I really hope that Tripod (http://www.3pod.com.au/) will be invited to play the show this year...or any year...or every year. I think the're swell!

    I'd like to meet people who have similar interests as I do, even stuff outside of gaming (like British Comedy). Maybe hang out with them?
    To stay for the entire Saturday concert.
    To have insane amounts of fun.
