I sang Ode to a Superhero instead of the regular lyrics at karaoke a few months ago and it was a big hit.

There are only a few songs you can actually do this with, however. Many of Al's versions have a different number of verses and/or choruses.

    Sing it for me Geek.

Ok yeah, I got the 4 dollar digital version from Amazon. I mean, four bucks.

Plus, now it's on the Amazon Cloud thingy, so I can listen to it any time I'm near a computer. Maybe I'll upload the rest of my Al collection to it.

I might buy the physical version eventually, because I have physical copies of all the other albums, and this is one thing I allow myself to be a complete-ist about.

Anyway, yeah, the album is very fun. Almost half the stuff I already had from the Internet Leaks EP thing he did about half a year ago, but hey, still good tunes. As is tradition for the last few albums, it seems like the second song is the best. Still totally love CNR. It's a rockin' good song.

Polka Face is a hoot, like the Polkas always are.

Party in the CIA is a lot of fun.

    Skipper Dan is cheerfully depressing.

Oh, and Al has said that this is gonna be the first album where he has official music videos for every single song! Most of the originals already have videos, as you can see in the OP. But that means all the parodies AND THE POLKA are gonna have videos. First official polka video! He says he's got like 10 directors or something working on it.

$4 is pretty hard to say no to!

He's good live too right? Thinking of going to see him at the state fair maybe.

He is excellent live. Doesn't really lose any quality of music, plus there are original numbers not on albums, big medleys of past songs, about half a dozen costume changes, video clips, and the Yoda Chant.

I'll have to think about seeing him this year too. Since it's in September, it'll be after the "official" start of the Alpocalypse tour, so they'll probably update the setlist to include album songs.

Listened to the album 3 times last night. It's pretty good. Party in the CIA steals the whole thing. I was bit annoyed that the album begins and ends with Lady Gaga parodies but that's because I despise her.

And what the hell is with the tribute song for Charles Nelson Reilly? I'm just kinda confused by that one.

I take it as a play on the Chuck Norris/Vin Diesel/Jack Bauer facts. Except he's doing it with a very effeminate guy. So, y'know, irony.
