Finally got to play around in sf with baroque this weekend. Ibuki is fun
Also managed to finally nail down some Spencer stuff so that is exciting.
I would think Spencer skills would be somewhat similar to Ibuki. You're essentially doing the same inputs when you do OTG combos with Spencer when you do Ibuki's jumping cross-ups.
Watching some ibuku play, this seems to be a least a little true. The type of play Spencer uses with grappling hook OTG combos looks very similar to the setups for ibuku's kunai traps, at the very least.
Hopefully next check I can grab AE and hop online with you guys

Man, I don't see that at all.
Diagonal projectiles, same controller motions, etc
Obviously pretty superficial similarities but I mean it's comparing a marvel character and a sf character. Not exactly a lot of crossover to be had beyond superficial stuff

The twins thrust move has priority over almost everything and it nullifies projectiles. Ugh...

Oh, well there's probably a closer comparison for the whole super jump projectile crossup than Spencer, especially since his super jump OTG is super limited compared to his landing OTG.
Like, flat out lost it last night when I double perfected Buttlust, then get shit from Butters because it only scored me a B for offense and defense, hahaha.

It gave you a C on defense and I think a C on technique too which was what I found funny. I think Gootecks is right about the technique score in that it grades you heavily on meter generation and usage and then clearly it requires you to have to defend to give you a good defensive grade.

you could compare ryu to ryu
it actually is a projectile itself
cheater
Desk says that's not even max, he feels
pretty crazy
it's interesting, but not all that scary
Yeah I was kind of thinking the same thing. It looks like some of those 5-meter Marvel combos.
I'll get to that eventually
gootecks is kind of crazy right now
like when he was talking about meter with mike ross in that one match
that was him trying to spectate sf4 like 3s
fo sho. do you have my number?
