I don't know anything about 3S but I think I understand where Gootecks is coming from. Since the grading system is a product of the developers it makes some sense that getting top grades means you're excelling in a way that the developers intended and thus playing the game the "right way" so to speak.
It's an interesting point though I doubt he's putting all that much stock into it. It's a source of more banter between them for the show.

anyone that watches the streams should read this article that UltraDavid wrote about the new bill that is being brought up to congress - aka The Anti-Streaming Bill.
I'm not so confident. If some asshole that can afford a license to stream wants he could report anyone else that doesn't and just the fact that jail time is even a factor is very disturbing.
and if it passes, all you got to do is get a hold of capcom's community manager and say, 'hey we're gonna stream a tourney, cool?' and he goes 'yeah cool' because the tournament scene is vital and it isn't really a big deal, and honestly promoters should really be doing that anyway

Unfortunately that's not how criminal law works. A prosecutor does not require the approval of a "victim" to pursue a case. I don't envision Spooky going to jail either but I'd certainly prefer that a remote possibility not even exist.

We were driven to Shadowloo Showdown by Fresh, the brother in law of the Shadowloo Syndicate. Apparently we were running really late because Fresh was driving like a bat out of hell. The audio really doesn't do it justice, but you can see MOV, RF and Mike Ross in the back seat not feeling too safe. ^_^

Yes, I did . I haven't gotten AE yet for the PS3 and am currently scrounging for a cheap copy of MvC3 for the PS3, but if you want to be the one I really test the controller out against, we can try it this weekend sometime.
It's a really terrible matchup for her, since she can't be offensive, like, at all due to all your different ways of safe wakeups.
Yeah, that's why I was telling you..the best way to play against any Bison is very defensive and to punish him / bait him into a focus and punish....while remembering not to focus right next to him. You have to be just beyond his standing roundhouse, basically.
Neutral jumps can work unless I predict / reflex the shit out of you, too.
If you attack me and you don't have a dive kick, I'll eat you alive. Unless you're using safe EX moves like Balrog can or FADC sakura's SRK, etc, but Balrog vs Bison really is meter management by the 'Rog.
