so this is out tomorrow for some of us and the day after tomorrrow for others, and it's been decided (and mod-approved!) that we should have a seperate place to talk about it

there's going to be some rules here, so read carefully

THREAD SPOILER RULES

ANY SPOILERS FROM A GAME OF THRONES UP TO A FEAST FOR CROWS DO NOT REQUIRE MARKING

if you are in this thread, you're here exclusively for full-series discussion. any TV show fans or people reading the series should get out now, you will be spoiled otherwise.

Dance With Dragons will still require spoilers in this thread

MARK YOUR SPOILERS, AND SPOIL YOUR CHAPTERS

for added security and to prevent impulse clicking, we're going to do a bit of a complex system. please mention which chapter you are talking about. if you're unsure of an exact number, say a fraction, or a page number.

we all know that George R. R. Martin is the Jack the Ripper of literature, so let's figure out who he's gonna kill! simply make a list of your predicted deaths, spoil it, and title it like so:

    I did the same thing for 8/9 on your list. But it is set!

    In other news I am reading A Feast for Crows but I probably won't finish it before Tuesday.

    It feels like a lot of the big events have already happened but I'm only halfway through.

    1)Areo Hotah surprising Arys Oakheart & Co. on the Greenblood.
    2)Brienne fighting off some of the remaining Bloody Mummers
    3)Euron being declared King of the Ironmen

    My brain just remembers these happening more towards the end I guess. Still plenty to come now that I think about it.

    He keeps wanting to talk to me about it. But he keeps saying silly things that make me want to throw my stapler at him.

    Both. He had some ridiculous idea of what Jon Snow's parentage could be but it was so bad that I sort of blocked it out of my head.

    Though he recently stopped by my desk to complain about Catelyn since he has just started book three. I had to laugh when he said "I just hope she dies. She bugs me."

    I know, I'm just getting in the habit now, so that when I come here to be all WTF Martin? Why you have to go kill HotPie?! I don't spoil everyone else's fun :P

    I'm kinda sad that we won't be getting much (or any) of Littlefinger's Scheming School (Which I imagine is going to be an Open University course at some point in the future). Still..more of the other dwarf with the hideous facial scar should make up for it though.

    My guess if he doesn't die, Jorah will become the new commander of the nights watch and it somehow frees up Jon to march with Dany to basically fucking own everything in Westeros.

    Then he'll be king and marry his...well, aunt right.
