Yes. It's also one of the best superman books I've read.
I actually really didn't like it
Lots of clever set-ups, and then almost no delivery. Like the writer came up with a bunch of interesting starting points and went "WHELP WE'RE DONE HERE"
Just found out that if the cost of the repair of this young lady's scraped paint is greater than $500 then my annual insurance premiums are going to up by $800.
Looks like I'll be paying out of pocket for this one. Yeesh, fuck you State Farm.
To be fair you just said "meh," which means you are fairly monstrous
That fucking word I swear to god
I mean, how the fuck did we as a society get to a point where apathy and ambivalence have the same shorthand expression, and both are so prevalent that said shorthand expression has become exhaustingly overused?

Really?
what about:
Green Lantern Corps?
Wonder woman getting all fucked up
The whole batman thing?
I thought it was really well done. The only vaguely anti-climatic thing for me was what I guess was supposed to be the whole payoff of the book:
whole world in a bottle?
which was a little... disappointing. Other than that though I loved it.

Ugh that word
Well, to be fair the ambiguity comes from meh being shorthand for 'I don't care' which can be reasonably used to indicate both apathy and ambivalence depending on context so that argument is pretty weak.
Agreed on the whole 'exhaustingly overused' thing though.

Well, you can't (or I've never heard anyone) use 'meh' to represent ambivalence at all, so I assumed you were doing what a lot of people do and actually meaning 'being unable to choose between two conflicting choices' rather than 'having two conflicting feelings about the same thing'.
edit: seriously, who uses meh to represent ambivalence?
wish I could skip class to go read Dance with Dragons
What's the class for? I'd wager you'd get a lot more meaningful intellectual stimulation out of DoD. Especially if you are one of the guys who waited like a decade for it.

Gotta funny kinda feeling, like I got broken glass in my underwear and a heard of wild pigs is trying to chew off my head.

Yep
Thought it is less "what if Superman was a communist" and more "what if Superman didn't have the depth of empathy that he usually does."
It's pretty good, I guess.

In Yorkshire we just grunt. Words are complicated beasts after all.
Ambivalence isn't the same as not caring!

Because buses are malicious and I am unlucky
They're not malicious, they're just too big to give a fuck about what's going on around them.

Fairly routine.
