This looks like it's turning into basically the game I'm already in (Complex Biology) but with half of the people as mentors. I guess the Phalla community is pretty small (not that that's a bad thing). Or maybe it just goes in waves.

I'm announcing RIGHT NOW that I'm going to make a concerted effort to change my posting style. So please don't find it suspicious that I'm not flailing around as much as usual. :P
(This is assuming I don't immediately slip up and start doing it again on, like, day two. I have in fact gone into the last couple games thinking, "All right, let's slow it down." :x)
.. although to be fair, that was also partly feeling trapped by my reputation and that if I did anything differently, people who were used to me would find it suspicious. Meh.

So, unless there's a sudden upswing in signups tomorrow, enough to make me think that we could get to the 20 person game that I'd honestly prefer, I'll probably close signups and start it tomorrow night with a 15 person game.
We could still use a few more veteran mentors. And commentators.
I can be available 6pm-11pm EST almost always. And I sneak a peek between 7am-6pm EST when I can. This mentoring is probably the easiest way to start adjusting to the new site. I've been lazy about it.
My problem is that either I contact -nobody- and look suspicious because I'm an unknown or I contact people and just take crazy chances, usually leading to my death. I prefer the latter style of play!
You can also make up your own roles then contact people pretending to have them or know others who do. That way you look so horribly suspicious no one votes for you... or everyone does plus you get vigged because you claimed vote immunity, one of those. I would recommend against that though, creative lying should remain within the bounds of what you can be sure of as much as possible.
