Speculation on 2006 PAX Omegathon Prize...

EmirooEmiroo Registered User regular
edited May 2006 in PAX Archive
At the past 2 PAX Events, the fellas have given away obscene gaming collections as the Omegathon Prize. What could they have up their sleve this year?

My guess is that it's going to be either several arcade machines or a car that is pimped out with every gaming system installed.

Then again, maybe they're giving away a Unicorn.

Of course, it would be also be hilarious if the winner just got a handshake and a shirt that says, "I won the Omegathon and all I got was this crappy shirt."

What do you guys think?

Does anybody know of a place where you can buy Unicorn insurance?

I think the OMEGATHON winner ought to know beforehand.

Surely an autographed photo of the Khoo would be easier to move around that the previous prizes. And that's just the first benefit.

Speaking of which, does anybody know how Coreside took his prize last year? Or what did he do with it?

Are you kidding me?! If they gave out a ton of old Sega gear, <ZOMFG THERE'S THIS THING CALLED SARCASM!! LAWL!!> I'd probably shoot myself in the head </ZOMFG THERE'S THIS THING CALLED SARCASM!! I didn't want to take it there, but people take things way to seriously in a forum where people are guessing that R Khoo's undying love is going to be the prize.

On another note, it'd be cool if an Omeganaut who loses gets a copy of the game played on that level. Consolation prize, or something.
