Which apparently creates a formula for an unexpected flop. Or maybe a fun blow-em-up popcorn movie?

    SHUT UP ALL OF YOU THIS MOVIE WAS GREAT

    I went to the midnight showing and it was everything I was hoping it would be

    "everything I was hoping it would be" consists of:

    1) Daniel Craig wearing pretty pretty cowboy outfits

    2) Aliens being shot

    3) Harrison Ford being all cantankerous and shit

    4) There is no 4th requirement here

    I am kind of tempted to read the reviews for this, to see why critics apparently hate it.

    And if the criticism boils down to "The plot/character development were horribly shallow," I might scream.

    The movie has Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford playing cowboys and fighting aliens.

    There is your plot and/or character development.

    Saw this yesterday.

    It was alright. I didn't take it seriously, so it wasn't that insulting.

    Plus, I got to see Daniel Craig blow up aliens and Harrison Ford act racist around Indians. So there's just no way I could hate this movie. Even a little bit.

    This movie was the most fun I've had at the theater in a while, but I went in with that mindset. I wanted it to be silly and it was! I wanted it to be action packed and it was! I wanted it to have pretty people starring in it and it did! I wanted aliens to be in it and by golly, there were aliens!

    If your expectations for this movie deviate too far from that list, you will probably not like it. But if you want to see a super-fun summer popcorn movie, you have just hit the jackpot
