Some of the things played on classic rock radio stations are good, and I identify them by their band names.
I like Rush and Three Dog Night and CCR and a bunch of others
But shit like Stevie Ray Vaughan or Pink Floyd or Boston or Journey (same band am I right?????) just gets filed under "classic rock"
...
what
I was listening to Boston's first album on a drive last week and that CD is THE BEST to crank in your car with the windows down. I sang to the whole damn thing.
And just because that Patton Oswalt clip brought this back to me, I don't care how cheesy this is, I love love love it (we're edging dangerously close to hair metal territory here but I make no apologies):
I'm finding it hard to decide what truly classifies as Classic Rock. Like, I don't feel that the B-52's or the Talking Heads do. They don't, right?
maybe a little on the wrong edge of new-wave
classic rock is a shit category anyway. classic rock radio is awful and i can tolerate about two hours of it per three year period before getting bored. i'm going to use this thread on the most generous terms.

that opening is one of my favorite in music
but as far as classic rock goes my favorite group is queen, but I have to admit that their 70s stuff is generally miles ahead of their 80s stuff
also
does not compute
Dear satan I wish for this or maybe some of this....oh and I'm a medium or a large.

which is more of a country song, but Hank Williams probably had a lot of influence on early rock and roll anyway.

Yes. Low is the best album of the seventies in my opinion. I couldn't get into any of his works after Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps) though.
