A Dream-based Mini-Phalla
You don't know where you are. You don't know how you got here.
You don't know what you did.
It doesn't matter. Here is where you are, where you meant to be all along. This is homecoming. This is redemption. This is... you try not to think about it. The sun rises behind you, and its golden light plays along the clouds. The breeze gently stirs your hair and beckons you onward. Why resist? You know this is perfect. Always perfect. You move forward, the day before you. Endless possibility. You smile at the thought. They say that, but they don't mean it. Yet here, it's real. That is why you like it here. The possibilities are endless. And all for you.
"Hey."
That voice. It screeches at you. You stop and turn, looking, searching for the source of that incoherent babbling. Looking and looking. It comes again.
"Hey!"
And you see it. The source of that voice. A man. Waving at you from the horizon. And then he stops and bends and picks it up. You watch me pick up the horizon, and then slip it into my pocket. I wave at you again.
You are incredibly angry.
The fountain burbled. The stars twinkled. Marvel sat on the edge with her ankles crossed and bounced her foot in the air to the beat of both.
"I don't remember this place," she said. "But I've been here before."
John scowled and shoved his hands in the pockets of his corduroys. "You say that like you mean it. But I don't know you. I don't know you at all."
"Does that matter?" Marvel asked.
"I don't know that either," he admitted.
"Then it doesn't matter, Mr. Know Nothing. Any fool could see that. What matters is context."
"Context?"
"Of course. Being here is meaningless without it. Stars shine, water flows. But they know as little as you without context."
John peered around hesitantly. "And what is the context of this place?"
Marvel laughed. "A boy and a girl. Strangers. In the dark. Surely everyone know this one?"

"I'm not sure I wouldn't like it better if we could just talk," I said, without much conviction. The volcano grumbled and the earth shook. I nodded my head.
"Force of arms then. Victory through strength."
A shiver crawled up and down my spine. Contested territory? No, I don't buy it. This was something different. Close, but not a perfect fit. Like looking up only to see a stranger in the mirror. Things had changed, but I hadn't. I was going to get to the bottom of this. The volcano roared at me. Smoke wreathed the clouds and choked the air. I grinned, put my head down, and charged.

So, the rules. Follow these, regardless of whether you've determined a specific rule isn't important to your tastes or whatnot. Do not communicate with dead people. Do not use screenshots to prove anything. Do not quote private conversations with me. Do not communicate anonymously with anyone (they need to know your forum name).
New forums, new rule. Everyone read this: Do NOT use the โAdd to Conversationsโ button on PMs.
The single exception to that is with me. It's much easier to manage many PMs now, so I encourage you to add me to all conversations you have with other players. I won't comment on them unless asked questions, of course, but I'd be interested to watch. It's your own choice, but I'd like to see the behind-the-scenes stuff

The mechanics here will be more stable than my last game (if you were in that), co-hosted with 38thDoe. But as always, there are no vanillagers in my games, so it could be a bit chaotic. Also, while I've done my best to make this balanced, the actions of the players could cause things to turn out unexpectedly. You were warned.
Colors used will be based on how readable they are in the standard color scheme.
Every day, you must !Vote in Bold Red for a player to kill. No vote for two nights in the game means you'll be replaced, or killed if we have no reserves.
After all players have signed up, there will be a Day 0. During this time, initial PMs will go out. This day will end as soon as everyone that needs to send me a PM sends me a PM. If you need to, you'll be told in that initial PM. Day 0 will last roughly 24 hours at maximum, depending on when we start. After that, I'll send out whatever other PMs are necessary, and the normal game will start with Day 1.
The vote will close at 11 PM Eastern.
Ask any clarifications in Bold Orange. Of course, feel free to ask questions privately.

The vote does not trickle.
I cannot answer the other questions at this time because the answers are not available yet. There is nothing even potential that renders voting useless, though.
Nor can the vote fully be "guarded."
If there exists abilities which affect the vote, then those come first. Then the vote. Then everything else in a roughly simultaneous manner.
No weird "mafia killed the vig so the vig doesn't get a kill" or anything like that.
